ABOUT THE OWNER
Kyra Parliman
Kyra Parliman is a caretaker to a piece of Millville’s history. She became the owner and operator of Colonial Florist and Gifts in August 2023. A Millville landmark – Colonial is 50 years in operation. Born and raised in Millville, Kyra fell in love with Colonial the first time she visited, as a seven-year-old girl. “I thought this place was amazing,” she recalls. It also inspired a lifelong love of flowers. “I studied floriculture in high school and it only furthered my love of flowers.” Working at different flower shops during her college years, starting with Colonial, allowed her to see what worked best in the industry and come back and make it her own. “It’s all come full circle” she says. In addition to flowers, Colonial’s large shop is filled with interesting gifts and crafts, from candles to jewelry, wood carvings and more. Many are one of a kind, created by local craftspeople and the selection changes with the seasons. Kyra takes a lot of pride in meeting each customer’s individual needs. “Almost all our bouquets are unique, personalized for the occasion,” she says. Colonial’s customers are from all over Cumberland County, Bridgeton to Port Norris, and in between. “They love the originality and how we keep everything updated, seasonal and fresh.”

Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.

The recipe for the arrangement indicates 3 stems of spray roses, we did not have those in stock so we used 3 regular size pink roses and added extra peach carnations, and a few higher-quality upgrades of the other flowers to try to make up for the lack of spray roses. Please reach out to us so we can make it up to you.

Signals got crossed and my wife wasn’t home at 4pm when the flowers were delivered. The delivery person called me and said she was leaving them on the porch. She did a great job tucking the ballon away along with the flowers. It was a windy day and I was afraid the balloon was going to drag the flowers into the yard. When my wife got there and found how everything was secured, she had nothing by praise for the delivery person.

Ordered a corsage online for my daughters 1ST prom. Corsage looked beautiful and full and definitely appeared to be worth the price. When Ordering online, the ONLY option was to have corsage delivered. I received a call the following day, explaining that corsages could NOT be delivered. Which was fine, and I made arrangements to pick it up at the store. When I asked for $10 delivery fee to be refunded, I was told “that it was would be difficult to do.” When I stopped in to pick up the corsage, everyone was pleasant and helpful. The corsage was very nice and well put together. Just NOT AT ALL like the picture! Much smaller and was not full as it appeared. Very disappointing, but at that point I had no time to order another or complain about it! I do not think corsages should even have the delivery option when purchasing online. I was refunded $10 cash in the store. And the picture should be updated as well, to show what you in fact will receive! This was my first experience with Colonial Flowers, very disappointing and I will NOT be a returning customer.

Ordered on-line Mother’s Day flowers...1 week too early! They were nice enough to call me and reschedule delivery date. I’m in CA and my mom is in rehab in NJ so this process was better than using FTD. I purposely had the flowers delivered the Wednesday before MD to avoid the rush. My sister sent me a picture and the flowers are beautiful. I’d order from them again in the future

The saddest funeral I have ever had to attend. My own beautiful Grandson, Donald Daigle. The flower was delivered on time thank you for that, but it wasn't the pillow I asked for it was a square pillow and I ordered the heart pillow. Yes great service and really close to accurate as shown in picture. And arrived at the time i wanted it to arrive. This has been my 2nd purchase. You have gained a lifetime customer. I just wish the prices dropped a little It seems a bit to expensive. Knowing you can get the same flowers at acme,shop rite and aldi for almost $25.00-$35.00 and balloons for 1.00 at the dollar store. While i get charged he only problem is having someone to take it if you want it to be a surprise.
