I wasn't sure what the bouquet would look like because I left it up to the florist to create the designer. Since I couldn't get to the hospital, I didn't see the bouquet, but Alice just loved it, especially because lavender is her favorite color.
Her grandchild took a picture and sent it to me - I have to agree, the bouquet was absolutely gorgeous. I have had bad experiences with florists when delivery is a distance - some think they can get away with old wilted flowers or the cheapest ones - not Coleen. Her work is beautiful.

Unprofessional and poor customer service. After spending $500 plus dollars over the past few years at this business, I expected better customer service. Failing to deliver a $250 floral arrangement to a funeral home 2 miles away from your business before the start of the service is unacceptable. To also tell me it was my fault as you couldn’t find a specific drop off time on my order was insulting and showed your lack of professionalism. In addition to my order, it was brought to my attention you received two other floral requests for the SAME recipient and funeral service, which were successfully delivered prior to the start of the service. Yet, somehow, my order drop of time was a mystery? Coleen, while I appreciate the deliver fee ($12) refund you offered, I really should’ve been fully refunded or at the very least, 1/2 refunded. The funeral director was appalled and will not be recommending you going forward.

Hello, we appreciate your use of us over the past year and we sincerely apologize for the situation you experienced. Unfortunately, if an order was placed online without a delivery time specified and even in the case of a specified delivery time, we are unable to guarantee said delivery time unless contacted prior. That information is stated on our website upon checkout, but moving forward we will make that information even more accessible to prevent any further miscommunication .
Furthermore, the other arrangements that were delivered prior to yours stated a time and had a different first name listed as the recipient, so among the amount of orders we make in a day it was unfortunately missed, which we again apologize for.
As for the refund, we still delivered the arrangement to the new location that you requested within a timely manner, hence why we didn’t issue a full refund. If you requested for us not to deliver the arrangement anymore, then we would have issued a full refund.
Again, we sincerely apologize and value all our customer’s opinions greatly. If you would like to discuss this further we are more than happy to talk to you over the phone at 617.282.0468.

The roses are like very but not close to the colour depicted, are not in absolutely peak condition and contrary to the instructions were not left in the mail room if the block but just left in the lobby where they could have been stolen.

Ordered the Peachy (deluxe), and although I wasn’t able to see what the florists created, the recipients have been raving about this bouquet. Additionally, I’d ordered them at around 8 AM and needed them delivered before 11 AM (Coleen’s opens at 9 AM). This may or may not have to do with the destination’s proximity to the store, but when I called the store to see what time the delivery would be scheduled for, the associate on the phone let me know that it was already out for delivery! I was pleasantly surprised. Excellent service. I’ll definitely be ordering again in the future!

I am VERY Dissapointed in the arrangement that was sent for my aunt's funeral. The flowers were pretty but it was sent in a plastic wrap (did the flowers NO justice!!) It was a funeral arrangement!!!! You did not even put them in a vase or basket/container etc.. The arrangement was laid om a small pedestal table. No Water! I paid $128.00 for those flowers. I could have gone to Stop & Shop and had 2 bouquets put together and wrapped in plastic for less than $30.00. I was embarrassed at the presentation. My family has always ordered funeral flowers from you for years and I know you know the Murphy's as well, so I was hoping for something nice. I will be calling during business hours tomorrow. My mom lives down the street from the shop. She was not called or notified in any way that the flowers had been delivered even though I gave both her and my cellphone numbers when I placed the order. The flowers were therefore left in the mail room overnight and totally wilted by the time she came to get them the next morning. They came back to life after she put them in some water, but it certainly wasn't a very nice Mother's Day surprise.

I ordered the Custom Made Wrapped Bouquet - I had an expectation that the bouquet will be somewhat different depending on the flowers in season but when it arrival it completely threw me off. I expected the flower to at least least be wrapped nicely like the picture but wasn't. so unfortunately I am a little disappointed. Beside that the handoff on delivery was good.

I was pleased with how easy it was to place an order online and that the order was delivered so efficiently, however the flowers weren’t the same as in the photo that I chose from the website. They substituted a bright pink magenta flower for the soft pink roses that were supposed to be in the arrangement. I was a bit disappointed. Last time they got a light pink container rather than the white one that was in the photo so this time I specified a white container but they changed the flowers. I think they should call to tell you something won’t be the same and give the client a chance to change the order if they want to.

While the flowers were beautiful, the run around to receive delivery was very disappointing. I placed the order with specific instructions online including my phone number, then called the next day to confirm the order. One hour and a half after the expected time, (this was a going away present) I called and was being told that, maybe my order was not confirmed. After saying how could it not be confirmed when my account was credited, I was told that the driver came back and there was nothing in the vehicle. At that point I asked for the manager who went on to say that the driver said no one was there to accept delivery. Mind you I work at a Nursing facility so that would have been impossible, and tyo make it worse we had two people yesterday at the reception desk (my response to her). The delivery showed up an hour later, we will never use you again

The flower didn’t turn out the way it look in the picture . I understand that sometime it’s hard to get the exact flower but the flower doesn’t look fresh and some even break. I email the place right after I pick it up and they did offer to have me bring the flower back right away for them to fix it but I live far so it’s a pain for me to come back so I didn’t .I was really looking for the flower cause I heard a lot of good thing about them from my friend so I give it a try. But I was really disappointed . The next day the flower look even worse. I usually get a week or at least 4 day out of the flower at the place that I usually order . So I was not happy cause it’s for my mom birthday and she did notice that the flower didn’t look fresh too.

I have ordered from Coleen's on several occasions as it is close to my wife's work and the flower arrangements are always superb. That being said I was highly disappointed with this purchase. I opted to pay extra and get the "deluxe" version of this arrangement, so with shipping it was $95 I believe. The arrangement was delivered mid day on October 10th and then brought home that night. By the next night, roughly 30 hours later all the flowers were very droopy looking and instead of a nice vibrant yellow you see pictured all flowers had a brownish tint to them. It resembled a $12 bouquet you would buy at Market Basket. I'm not sure if anything can be done I just wanted to voice my displeasure. These were a 7 year wedding anniversary present that lasted less than 2 days. I was not even going to complain but my wife insisted as they are now brown and wilted.

Unfortunately the flowers I ordered were reported as delivered when they were not. I had to call the shop the next day and they said they would be delivered this afternoon. They were polite and apologetic and i understand it's busy but I was under the impression that they were delivered aas I got the confirmation and looked foolish when they were not.

For the first time I was disappointed in the arrangement sent to my aunt in the Bostonian Rehab Center. My cousin sent me a picture of the arrangement and it was not very professional looking and surely did not look like the arrangement I picked out. It had similar flowers but was put together poorly. As most flowers are purchased for a special event of a time. I went and spent a good amount on flowers for a birthday gift. Actually they were for my mother. I specifically announced when they should have been delivered on a specific date. Well they arrived one day earlier and the gift receiver was not there to make the event surprising. Overall the flowers are beautiful it just did not make the event meaningfull to me. I hope that this domes not happen again to others.

Florist was closed on the Monday that I called but didnt have an message noting in their voicemail or on their website that which would have been helpful. However I placed my order online and it came the following day midday so there was no time delay issue. The arrangement was beautiful, very true to the photo but with the bountiful upgrades. I won't be using this company again. The flower delivery was supposed to be a surprise and the delivery driver called the recipient to ask how to get to the address. Talk about ruining the surprise. I shouldn't have left her number in the first place. I learned my lesson.

I have always had a great experience with Coleen's; the flowers are always gorgeous and the service is great. I placed two orders online through Coleen's website for delivery this Mother's Day. One of the orders got delivered to the wrong address, but Coleen's made sure the arrangement made it to the right location on time. My only gripe was that when I called to remedy the problem, whoever I spoke with blamed me for having the wrong address and no phone number on the order. I checked multiple times and my online order did have the correct address as well as my phone number on the order, hence why they called me when it was delivered to the wrong address. I was gravely offended that they would blame me without reviewing the online order form. The only saving grace was the feedback on how beautiful the flowers were. I will probably continue to order flowers from Coleen's since their arrangements are amazing, but hopefully I won't have another disconcerting experience.

I've lived in the area my whole life and used coleen's a bunch of times. Always had a good experience and the flowers are always great. This time my order was sent a week earlier than I specified. What's the point of having the option to pick a date if it will be disregarded and sent the next day? "A-week-before-your-birthday" flowers aren't the same as birthday flowers unfortunately

Well as you are asking ..... I found the website somewhat confusing at the time of ordering, it was not clearly apparent how to change the date of the order, but eventually I managed to do this. The main issue I have that was extremely disappointed with was with the card message. There was not enough room for the message in the message box. The order was from a professional organisation with a long name and quite a formal message, and there was nowhere near enough room provided for the message. So I added the message in the florist comments box and asked for an email to be sent to me to let me know the full message had been received and would be sent with the flowers. I was not sent this email to follow up my request. As the sender is a very important client of ours ( we are a premier florist shop here in Melbourne) and I wanted to be sure everything was perfect. It was not a small order either, I spent over $200 US dollars!! I understand that it is the small details that make a customer experience special. Not replying to my request makes me wonder if my request was even received let alone acted upon. Not answering a customer request displays a lack of care or follow up and poor customer service. I would still like to know if my message was sent with the flowers, possibly this review will help me get the answer to the request I sent through days ago. I trust that the flowers were beautiful and delivered successfully.

I scheduled delivery for Wednesday 10/22, and since Coleen's advertises their same day hand delivery didn't think this would be a problem. Especially since we are located extremely close geographically. However, the flowers didn't arrive until the following day around 2:30pm--even after I called to inquire about their status on 10/22. Not sure what went wrong, but likely won't be using Coleen's again given the unreliability.
