I placed my order 2 days in advance, however on the delivery day I had to call to ensure it was going to be delivered - I had heard nothing and it was already 2pm; the delivery needed to go to an office prior to closing at 5pm. When I called the response was 'it should go out in the next couple of hours'. Perhaps just clear communication about delivery times would have been helpful, but paying $20 for delivery at the end of the day was not ideal.

Regi, We are so sorry to hear that your experience was less than ideal. It is customary for our deliveries to begin after 2pm as that is our cut-off time for same day deliveries. It is preferable that we combine delivery orders as often as possible to save time and fuel expenses.
It appears you didn't notice that the website offers an area for special instructions under Recipient Information, where you can include Notes for the florist / special instructions that says: Do you have any request or special instructions for us? Then below that it states "If you are requesting a general time for delivery, we will do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee delivery for this time."

While the arrangement initially did look pretty, half of the flowers were dead within 2 days.

The most disappointing part of my experience, however, was with the gentleman that "helped" me when I arrived to pick it up. He was extremely rude, curt, and seemed as though I was bothering him. He was inputting some data into the computer when I arrived and smugly said "I'll be with you in a minute" without looking up at me, then proceeded to wait 2 minutes while he very slowly typed something on the keyboard. Then when he looked up and I told him I was there to pick up a flower arrangement, he stated "oh, were you the one that was SUPPOSED to be here earlier? I must have put it in the refrigerator when you didn't show up" when I had told the woman earlier in the day that I MAY be by early afternoon or late afternoon. He had very little interest in making sure I had the correct bouquet, as there was no name on it, so thankfully I knew the exact one I had ordered. I believe the same man used to work at Kennedy's in Scituate, and I recall avoiding his "help" when we used to go there as well. Time to find a new employee!

Upon a day late arrival, these roses were completely opened with black around the edges of all the roses, one rose was already drooped over. They were also delivered in a vase with no water. They appeared to have tipped over during delivery. Within two days all the roses were dead. We tried to reach out but have not received a response. Very disappointed.

I ordered this arrangement for my friend who recently lost her dad.
I ordered it via online and then called. They didn't have yellow lilies but said they could easily substitute with yellow roses and tulips.
I picked up the arrangement 2 hours later. It was so pretty and cheerful.
It made me smile.
Its so sad to lose a parent anytime but lately it is worse. She didn't even get to kiss him goodbye because of Covid-19. He was in a rehab the last days of his life of 93 years.
Bringing this lovely Kissed by the Sun arrangement wasn't an actual kiss but the warmth and sunshine it brings by just looking at it meant the world to her.
