Cody Floral Designs
Cody Floral Designs has been serving Arlington and surrounding communities for over 30 years. Owner, Deborah Cody continues to be hands on since the start. We're delighted to welcome Tegan Cody to our team. She has studied with the Floral Design Institute. We are recommended by local funeral homes and consider unique funeral designs among our specialties. Cody Floral Designs is proud to list Harvard University, Harvard Law School, MIT, Northeastern University, Babson College, Simmons University, UMass Boston, Pfizer, Keefe Funeral Homes (Arlington and Cambridge), DeVito Funeral Homes (Arlington and Watertown), Burke Funeral Home (Wellesley) and Burke and Blackington Funeral Home (West Newton) among our corporate clients. We are delighted to service several local churches. As a floral studio, our staff is available to be on location to setup detailed events. Because of this, we suggest you contact us to be sure someone is in the studio to help you before you stop by. We are always happy to try to meet by appointment. The online ordering worked well, and I called to add to our order. They were so courteous and kind. They initiated a call to our older cousin to see if she had a cat and to arrange a delivery time that worked for her. Given she is 90 and we live out of state, I really appreciated this!! Arrangement was not what I expected. My friend sent me a picture of the arrangement she received. Sent picture to Cody Floral designs. I immediately received a phone call. Cody Floral designs cares about their customers and asked if I could get a picture of the arrangement from another angle. I received a picture of the other side of the arrangement, and it was just OK. The person I spoke with on the phone was very pleasant and professional, provided great customer service. However, the arrangement did not meet my expectations. Looked nothing like the picture. The arrangement was "messy", the stems in the vase made the arrangement look nothing like the pictured arrangement on the website.

I live overseas and found their website super easy to use, and more importantly it accepts foreign billing addresses. No need for me to have to ring up from a time zone 15 hours ahead of Boston to give my card details over the phone just to be able to place an order.

The sympathy plant we ordered did not arrive with the silver ribbon as pictured. The staff person who arranges for the delivery was very angry that the recipient hadn’t responded to her text messages for delivery timing, and the person was very short with me on the phone when I called in with an alternative contact number. Due to the rude behavior, I won’t be using again.

Cody Floral Designs went above and beyond to make sure my mom got the unique and special flowers I ordered online, even though they didn't have the beautiful calla lilies in stock. Cody Floral contacted me to let me know they were trying to find the flowers I wanted, and they offered several creative alternatives if they were unable to procure the desired calla lilies. The staff was so kind, and made me feel that finding these flowers for my mom today was the most important thing to them. I so appreciate the time it must've taken them and for the ongoing communication with me. Fortunately, they were able to find the long stem calla lilies for my mom. My mom told me the flowers are "beautiful, different, and make an incredible statement". She sent me a photo of them and said they were the most beautiful flowers! I posted the picture on my social media page, and I would highly recommend Cody Floral to anyone looking for stunningly gorgeous flowers and a staff who truly cares. Thank you!

Not only was the Garden of Serenity arrangement beautiful but the custom casket spray was exactly what I wanted for my mom. The flowers were pretty however the case was the cheapest I have ever encountered. Cheap plastic vase! I mean thin and horrible. I was embarrassed to present this as a birthday present. I could have found a better one at the dollar store. For the price paid for the flowers I was expecting a glass vase.

This flower arrangement is very pretty but WAY overpriced. I was expecting more flowers since I paid extra, and just received what you see in the picture. On the morning of the delivery date, I called to ask approximately what time did they think I would receive the arrangement, and the person I talked to laughed in my ear and told me they had no idea when we would see it (eventually they said “hopefully we’ll be there by 4:00”). I was half expecting it to not arrive that day, but eventually it was delivered by our front door. Will most likely not buy from them again.

I ordered a beautiful bouquet for my grandmother through the website. I received a phone call less than five minutes later from the owner. She explained that one of the type of flowers in the bouquet did not do well in the extreme heat and asked if I would like to substitute something of the same color for it. The flowers were nice but when they hadn't been delivered by 3:00 PM I called just to get a status of my order. I was very polite and I was treated rudely by the person who took my call. Apparently "Same Day" means they deliver up to 5:00 PM. I don't need to be scolded so next time I will get my flowers elsewhere.
