Hi! I’m Shay, Leading Creative Director and Owner of Chasing Petals, a premier florist in Richmond Hill. My love for people and the deep emotional meaning behind flowers inspired me to create Chasing Petals, and I’m so grateful that you stopped by! In my career as a florist, I have helped clients on everything; from day-to-day occasions, celebratory and sympathy bouquets and arrangements, through elaborate wedding displays. Many people see flowers as just a pretty accent to an event; be it date night, a birthday, anniversary or other special occasions. For me, flowers are so much more than that. For me, flowers are a physical representation of the emotion and love you have for others. It can be everything and anything! From first-date butterflies, to congratulations for major life milestones like a promotion, a new baby, or a new home. But it also includes bringing a smile to someone’s face when they’re going through the tougher times, when life has just been really hard lately. Or the quiet strength and support sent to someone going through a heartbreaking loss. Whatever the occasion may be, flowers are a physical representation and reminder of these emotions, and it is my absolute honour and privilege to be part of bringing everything together for you. When I start a design, I like to talk to you, get a sense of what emotion and vibe you are looking to emulate, and then I start. I put my love into each and every arrangement or bouquet I create! Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field
during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in
