We do forward the business line during off hours, days off, most holidays and weekends. Pamela Lee

Beverly, MA. Florist of fresh flowers & designs. Not Edible Arrangements our visual last longer. Creative - Affordable - Community Ms. Landess - A true Beverly girl! Graduated from Beverly High School, class of 1980. Go Panthers! As a young person, Ms. Landess has always enjoyed working with the public and getting to know all her neighbors. So she focused her life goals on a career in retail management and loving life! A Young Girl's Passion While most young girls are playing dolls or collecting the latest fashions, a young Ms. Landess had other interests. As a self-taught nine-year old, "the little wee florist" began her first and very own creative flower shop in her mom's basement in Beverly. Young Ms. Landess intuitively began work to set up a "floral shop" fully equipped with a real floral work bench, purchased products, inventory of items, colors and selections to design one-of-a-kind silk and dried floral wreaths, swags, arrangements and holiday decor. As she excitedly kept designing away, re-investing her babysitting money for new supplies, it didn't occur to this young girl to offer to sell her goods. Fate took its course when her mom, a hairdresser, proudly introduced her young daughter to a client in need of a money arrangement for a bridal shower. Ms. Landess suggested a silk centerpiece with bills strategically folded and fanned throughout the piece. Her first client was thrilled with the results...and a floral designer was born (at the ripe age of nine)!!! Her first client was so pleased that, much to the young girl's amazement, the customer added a $5 tip! The savvy young florist quickly took her wages (including her $5 tip) and, rather than buy candy, toys or clothes, equipped her basement floral shop with more products. Living Out Her Passion Forty-three years later, Ms. Landess continues to live out her passion and continues to re-invest herself into her love of floral design. She specializes in fresh floral arranging, decorating, weddings, custom sympathy and everyday arrangements. She's also complimented her services with commercial work for North Shore businesses, as well as giving back to the community by donating her services to many worthy non-profit organizations. Her goals, combined with decades of retail experience proved to be the perfect recipe for owning and operating her well-located, full-service flower shop. Her people and social skills, creative eye, positive energy and old-fashioned work ethics have kept her busy helping to make wonderful memories for her great clients. Ms. Landess' philosophy on life is that one needs to keep a firm balance of work, fun, laughter and play. She believes this is a great recipe for a fulfulling life. Ms. Landess' fulfilled life is highlighted with being able to live out her passion of creating floral art and making a living at it! Pamela did an amazing job! Right away she called me to talk thru my online order and what I wanted. We discussed options and great detail. Being memorial day she wasn't sure if she was gonna get it out same day, but then delighted me by delivering it so much earlier than I expected just after noon same day! And they were beautiful. I was really disappointed with my order. The arrangement that arrived looked nothing like what I ordered online. I had chosen a specific style and color scheme that felt perfect for my mother-in-law, but what showed up was completely different—different flowers, different colors, and overall looked much cheaper than what I picked out. It was incredibly frustrating to deliver her something that didn’t reflect what I had thoughtfully picked out. I understand that substitutions sometimes happen, but this was beyond that. I tried leaving a voicemail, but the mailbox was full.

As I just did, with the text photo of the vase design. Not sure why you've posted this 2 star review. Sincerely appreciate your patience of any hour or so, for me to retrieve ur order, get back to the studio to research the questions you asked me. Of course I did follow-up with this. Then you're posting this?
So here's the follow-up I didn't have the opportunity to discuss with you a few minutes ago.
Your Mother's Day floral choice was from a farm direct floral photograph. As stated within description. Also stated, "RESERVE ahead of holiday rush" AND " limited holiday item"
Your order was placed and received at 4:40 PM Friday the 9th of May, for next day delivery. The design recipe is always fully noted with colors, floral type and quantity per stem. I mentioned I'd pull ur order, double check the totaled value, and get back to you.
Casey, I won't go on in more detail.... but your order was filled to value, plus $1.00
The stock photo sample stated just that in the description and the selection of flowers within design (stock photo never showed the design, vase, sheer bow or the HMD pick!) I personally completed the design & photos by 9:40 PM Friday night.
The industry suggests orders are placed early during a holiday week and thereafter the inventory availability can disappear or limited. As noted on website description. I was fully prepared to discuss n review with you. Then see what might happen afterwards. Sadly that wasn't possible, after receiving ur review. My best to you Casey, your future flower orders. Perishable items & nature's strength in displayed colors isn't under anyone's control. That's where the "website description" is key to posting a farm stock photo

The Lynch Park arrangement was lovely. I am not much of a flower arrangement person when it comes to funerals. It was a very small, beautiful floral design. Perfect and simple for me to send just a small thought. Pam was wonderful in calling me as she was concerned about the size. It worked out fine for my needs. The owner faced exceptional challenges delivering this one. She’s provide great communication and attempted heroic events to deliver these despite every hurdle the Beverly street department has thrown in her way. Way and above what most others would do. Friendly, honest, and a very nice person who understood what the flowers would mean to someone in mourning.

Awwww, thank you soooo much for this review communication. You know, without your kindness and understanding of my detailed (insanely out of the ordinary) delivery challenges, it helped me get through the Beverly road blocks surrounding the delivery location. Unfortunately, 3 road construction companies weren't in sync with detours or blocked roadway access, every single route, shortcut, were met with "blocks" holes in road and no sidewalks to allow passage.
You've gone "above & beyond" by expressing your humanity & calm support, understanding and caring for me, my business, too!
Much appreciated your multiple offers to pay extra for the 2.5 mile delivery that took 1.25 hours, driving in circles, bypassing through rt 128 to Wenham for the opposite access entrance to this road. I truly appreciated your offer to compensate my essesive travel time, miles and gas consumption. I couldn't, wouldn't feel right taking from you, it wasn't your fault or even aware of the major errors the city of Beverly has imposed on myself, and no doubt, many others. The recipient had already gone through this. Imagine? An homeowners unable to reach his own home. Love to know how the fire department or emergency vehicle would reach homeowners, or a fire.
Beverly needs to do much better....
Someone hasn't done their job efficiently.

Second time using you guys from Connecticut. You always take a chance with florists but I was very pleased the first time and was certainly not disappointed this time. When the flowers I picked were unavailable Pamela reached out and ask what I wanted to do. I left it in her capable hands and the flowers delivered were gorgeous. I have to order flowers from Down Under for my family in Mass and it's always a risk as it just a website - but I have to say these were the most beautiful flowers I've ever ordered and the recipient was blown away! The bouquet was even more beautiful in person than what it looked like online. The beautiful owner took time to talk with me when I needed to be sure they would be delivered on time, the owner personally delivered the flowers! Communication was fantastic, service outstanding, and one of the most beautiful bouquets I ever purchased. I would highly recommend them to all and I know I will be using them again & again. Do NOT hesitate to use this wonderful, local shop with an owner and floral arranger who really cares :)

I was ordering on line for a delivery in another state. Carroll's Florist was terrific in making sure it got to where it was going in spite of the fact I did not have the exact address. Followed up with a detailed email about what happened and confirmed that the flowers were delivered. Along with a follow up email. You don't find that kind of service everywhere anymore. Carroll’s florist has always acted professionally and transparent. Flowers are extremely difficult to get in this post Covid world and the woman at Carrolls (sorry blanking on her name) was very transparent up front the flowers I chose may not all be available. Our male friend had just gotten out of the hospital and needed some cheering up. In a matter of hours an arrangement was at his door. His favorite color is yellow; he sent us a picture of the arrangement, it was gorgeous. Full and vibrant. I am very happy I chose a local florist. Carrolls called me with questions and let me know what flowers they had available. Even with Valentine’s day looming they were able to take care of our order.

Pamela at Carroll's Florist was wonderful. She acknowledged my order, almost immediately and corrected an error that I had made on the delivery address. They let me know that changes needed to be made to my original order and the arrangement was far more beautiful than the picture on their website. They even let me know when the flowers were delivered.

I highly recommend using Carroll's Florist. The arrangements and staff are a welcome experience compared to the typical internet, 800 number florist.

I think this was a wonderful delivery, though unseen by me my recipient was pleased - Please re-examine your standard flat fee for delivery. It seemed high given we used a local florist for just that reason- reducing carbon footprint is one of our goals. Your small business was very close to the delivery location.

Yes!! The local Delivery fee in Beverly is $14.99

The Courier's clock starts upon retrieving the floral design from my coolers, then look up address in Google Maps or Ways, then tray up the container for safe/secure transport
( no tipping..lol) to the address requested.
Once loaded onto vehicle the Courier's or myself, (at times) prep the route.

The fixed expenses for the requested delivery service are as followed.

Time-line round trip!
Gas $$
Credit Card 3% fee comes out of the $14.99
The Bloomnation Website Host debits a 4% from your full order, B4 sales tax!

Auto Insurance & liability coverage.

Smart Phone in vehicle.

Average yearly maintenance & fees, AAA, Registration and sticker, cleaning.

THEN we have the Courier to pay, per delivery or by the hour. The BIG chunk of that $14.99
(by the hour lends a less expensive delivery fee).

The Courier's arrive to the address requested, untray the design, dry off the vessel & proceed to the door/doors.

They'll wait until the oder is safely in the recipients hands, or locate a neighbor, call/contact the sender if no ones home, or not answering their door.

In this case you had directed us to leave, if no one answered. Thks!

We then call the recipient to inform them where the gift has been left....Then they alert, YOU, the sender by cellphone or back at shop, on computer. That your delivery was executed as requested & completed.

We greatly appreciate that additional information you left us.

The Courier's don't get paid BIG money...Hence! Local $14.99 fees to cover a variety of expenses previously noted.
They truly appreciate tip option.
The business/owner after taxes might realize $1.00 per delivery.

If we redeliver x2 due to weather, not home, not answering and the very common, incorrect address...The shop absorbs the full loss and additional services at no additional charge to my customers.

I do home this detailed breakdown helps!

The $14.99 local fee I've set...hasn't really been enough since COVID and the additional steps taken. But kept the fee base as is. Even with the continuing increase cost for gas & everything else.

I purchased these flowers for a friend who is going through some pretty hard times. The arrangement online looked stunning which is why I chose it, paid for it and wanted the same day delivery. Imagine my disappointment when most of the arrangement had carnations in it...
I chose this arrangement because the colors were appropriate for the season that we are in. None of the colors in the arrangement that was delivered was remotely close to the picture and there were about 1/2 the amount of flowers. It was noted that some substitutions were needed, given current inventory, but the actual arrangement was completely substituted.
I hope for future costumers sake, that changes to the website are made accordingly so that others don't fall for the false advertisement.

Just wanted to confirm that the "Four Season" design choice you made at 1:29 PM on 11/02/21 was designed, with substitutions (my email alerted you immediately upon receiving your order) with a note to contact Carroll's if you had questions or concerns...The cancel option is always available whenever "substitutions" are being alerted to sender.

The completed design was also delivered within 75-90 minutes from receipt of your order...just 31 minutes b4 "same-day" cut off-@2PM...

This design had ALL the colors & style as in WS photo...My WS photos also disclose each photo is a sample style, based on Market fresh inventory at time of order & delivery.
The glass cube design chosen does have Carnations & peach Mini Carnations, with same Alstromeria, mixed greens, spray Rose & Gyp & Poms.
The overall design style, glass cube & flower variety were in keeping with your selection and the WS disclosure for substitution & market fresh availability....then the "alert" to you!
I do not, nor would even think of presenting a "false" photo or claim to design or fill otherwise...EVER!!!
I can assure you the standard design value was "spot-on" some stunning photos of the design are available as well.

It's always great to receive feedback good or sad...thank you!

Based on this worldwide, ongoing "instock" & "backorder" (even quality) challenges we face. The majority, if not ALL businesses, in all industries do continue to maneuver these challenges & obstacles on a daily basis- for the last 18 months!

My fiancé and I don’t live in Beverly, MA any more, but a great deal of our family and friends still reside there. Carroll’s Florist is our number one pick for when we want to send flowers for a special occasion, like Mother’s Day or someone’s birthday, or when one of our loved ones isn’t feeling well. Pamela (the owner) truly does a beautiful job with the arrangements, and her pricing along with her local delivery fee are very reasonable. Just yesterday we discovered that one of our family members, despite being isolated for months contracted COVID-19. We were able to find a nice bouquet on Carroll’s website and arrange for it to be delivered the very same day. Carroll’s also goes the extra step by emailing you a picture of the bouquet you ordered before it’s delivered to it’s recipient, which is an extra nice touch. You can tell she really cares about her customers too, back in May of this year when we were arranging for bouquets to be delivered to my fiancé mom and grandmothers for Mother’s Day, Carroll called us to personally apologize that she didn’t have all the flowers for the bouquets we ordered in stock. (Mind you this was right in the middle of the first lock down, legally Pamela was not allowed to have any employees help her due to the lockdown regulations, and any supplies at this time, especially fresh flowers were hard to come by.) She reassured us that while the bouquets might not have the original flowers we picked, she would still make them big and beautiful. And they were. She truly does lovely work and is a lovely person all together. If you are looking for a good, reliable florist, with a big heart, then Carroll’s Florist is the place for you.

I procrastinated in ordering my mom flowers for Mother's Day by waiting to order until two days before, which I should have known was a mistake during the covid-19 pandemic. I was panicking because my "usual" shop was unable to complete a delivery until almost a week after Mother's Day. I kept searching for a faster option, and the Carroll's website indicated they would be able to deliver the day after Mother's Day. That didn't seem so bad compared to the other estimates I was getting, so I placed the order and planned to sheepishly apologize to my mom for the tardiness.

The night before Mother's Day I got a message from Pamela at Carroll's saying she could make the delivery on Mother's Day if I could just text her my mom's phone number to facilitate the contact-less delivery. Easy enough.

My mom received a beautiful arrangement on Mother's Day before 11am. I was so pleasantly surprised and thankful for Carroll's for going out of their way to make sure the delivery happened on the actual day in spite of my own procrastination. As an added bonus, my mom made a point to call me a week later and tell me that her flowers still looked great!

I will be sure to use Carroll's as my "go-to" for future flower deliveries in Beverly. Thank you so much Pamela!

Beautiful arrangement, but it is NOT what expected for an upgrade to premium. Very unhappy customer.
Not happy with the money I spent for this arrangement $100+ for the premium and it looks very basic.
I was not aware this was a 3-sided arrangement. Once again VERY UNHAPPY. This is not worth the money steer clear of upgrading!!

I needed a same day delivery to my mom in the hospital and came across Carroll's florist. I placed an order online and made a note to use purple hues as they are mom's fav color. Within hours the floral arrangement was already hand delivered and looked truly beautiful. I also phoned in to check on status and the person was so super friendly and helpful and told me of the extra care to add purples to the mix. I am from it off state so I made a point to bookmark this place for future use as I have lots of family in the area and am always looking for deliveries. Quality arrangement, great service! Top-notch, highly recommend you try them out. You will be pleased with overall experience!!:)

The arrangement was not at all as pictured. There were no ferns at all which would of helped fill it out. The size was smaller then I thought and the flowers were very different then the photo. I wish it was more to it!! Very disappointed. Sorry to say. And I did the extra $$ for an upgrade

I was very disappointed in the funeral arrangement we purchased. It did not look like the photo online. There were fewer flowers and they had already begun to wilt and turn brown on the edges. My family and I were actually embarassed to see it beside all of the other more beautiful displays. This certainly was not a "deluxe" arrangement and was not worth the money we paid. I will not used Carroll's again.

I placed a same-day delivery order with Carroll's as a sympathy gift. The flowers were brought to the recipient's doorstep in hours, and they were exactly as pictured in the online catalog. The entire process was so simple, and communication was excellent. I received emails when the order was processed and when the flowers were actually delivered. My husband also received a voicemail describing how the delivery person left the flowers on the recipient's porch after having called for permission. The value was really excellent for the level of service and quality of the arrangement. We will absolutely go through Carroll's again.

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.

Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day.
