Carousel of Flowers is a quaint and inviting floral boutique with a marvelous selection of retail gifts, that has been women-owned and run since 1997. We serve Escondido, CA, and the surrounding area. We are located in the El Norte Plaza, in a convenient part of town, near the intersection of 15 and 78 freeways. The shop boasts ample parking and a large showroom of flowers and gifts. Sue Paparisto
At Carousel of Flowers our team of experienced designers provides stylish and appealing floral delights for various occasions. We feel that flowers are a gift of the heart, an emotional conveyance with a distinct vibration and energy, easily felt and as easily forgotten in our busy lives. We look at our work of providing flowers, as a true service to her community. As a local business, we have been part of many changes in customers' lives, from preparing their first corsage to providing flowers for their weddings and subsequent anniversaries We have been sending lovely bouquets for the new mother and child, arrangements for Mother's day and birthdays. When asked to arrange loving memories for funeral services, our designs celebrate all aspects of life and of living.

Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
How often will I be billed?
You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?
Yes, you can! contact us at (760) 741-5740, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?
We’d be happy to take care of that for you! Please contact us at (760) 741-5740 and we’ll cancel your subscription right away.

I used Carousel Flowers for the first time last Friday to have some flowers delivered to my mom for Mother’s Day. Because I am now out of state, I can’t deliver them in-person and have tried other local florists without much luck—delivery not available when I want, flower arrangements not as big and beautiful as they claim, and overpriced. My experience was so good with Carousel that I called them the other day to let them know. And one of the greatest things was the photo confirmation of delivery with my mom holding her beautiful bouquet! I highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

First time using this local florist and I could not be happier. After ordering, I was emailed a detailed receipt. I also wrote a longer message and they were able to include it in the delivery card. Most important, the flowers were so beautiful. I upgraded to deluxe and there were a lot of flowers and little filler, which is what I wanted. They were fresh, full, beautiful mix of colors in shades of pink/light purple, with six different types of flowers. Once delivered, I got a confirmation and a photo of the arrangement. It was arranged exactly like the photo on the website. The recipient loved them. I will use this local florist again, rather than the bigger name brands. I want to do my part to support small businesses.

Negatives - The picture on the website is gorgeous with lots of flowers, substantially filled with purple hues, white roses, and sprinkling of baby's breath. What was delivered was nothing like the picture. Way, way fewer flowers and LOTS of baby's-breath. White carnations were thrown in and there were only a couple purple flowers. What I received wasn't terrible, but not even close to the quality and quantity of flowers shown. I tried to attach a photo, but this doesn't allow it.

I saw from her video that the flowers were BETTER than the picture on this site & more beautiful in person. Last V-Day was good, but this year not so much. Some of the flowers barely lasted a couple days, and even with a driver tip payed in advance, the delivery was much later in the day than expected. Not sure if I'll order from here next year.
Update. They made it right by delivering a really nice replacement arrangement as soon as they saw my review. Now I will use them again next year, and maybe before.

In the past, I’ve used other florists who have delivered flowers that in no way resembled their website pictures…puny, scraggly bouquets that I was embarrassed to have my mother receive. Have used this florist a few times and always choose a Designer's Choice bouquet for my mother, with a simple suggestion like "purples" or "heavily scented." Mom is wowed every time. I was unaware I asked for delivery to an incorrect address however, after several phone calls with me, the staff was able to contact the recipient for the correct address and delivered a very special birthday arrangement to fulfill my request.

When I hadn't heard anything by 3, I called the store to see if they had an idea when the flowers would be delivered. I was told they had left on a truck ~1:30PM, but no further information. Lo and behold, the flowers arrived! At 4:28 PM. After she had left work.
The whole point of getting flowers delivered to her at work on Valentine's Day was so that she would get flowers....at work....on Valentine's Day.
So overall, the product itself is nice, but they aren't $90 flowers. The justification for the price is getting them delivered on a special day, and on that front, Flowers of Escondido didn't deliver.

The flowers that were sent did not match the image or description. The flowers in the picture and listing were Valentine's Day themed with red/pink roses and the ones sent included peach roses with white lilies and other purple flowers.

I had ordered from Carousel of Flowers previously and sent this Head in the Clouds bouquet to the same person. The recipient was very happy with the flowers! I had sent something to her from another florist at another time, before I discovered Carousel, and she I do not believe was impressed. When I send flowers I always ask for the recipient to send me a photo so that I can see what has been delivered. She sent me a photo and they were gorgeous, a beautiful mix, especially with peonies my fave flower and rarely used by florists. My only suggestion would be to send a photo of what is being delivered to customers. I think they would appreciate it and it’s good branding! I only wish you were in my area! I loved the same day delivery option, and the notification when the flowers were delivered. The arrangement was pretty, and the flowers looked fresh. The only thing that could be better, and it's a big one for me...is that the florist offers the standard bouquet as pictured for the price displayed, and then there are other options. There is a deluxe option for more money, and then there's a premium option for even more money. I chose the premium option because I wanted it to be a "wow", and I don't mind spending extra for that. Unfortunately, even after spending almost $20 more, the arrangement looked almost exactly like the original-priced one.

The flowers were left on the front porch but the recipient was not alerted they were there. She didn't discover them until the next day! A knock on the door (she was at home at the time of delivery) or phone call would have been nice. The company asked for the recipient's phone number. However, they didn't use it for anything. The flowers only lasted 5 days. I was very disappointed to hear that since I paid close to $140 for the flowers, delivery fees, and tip. Between that and the recipient not finding the flowers until the next day, the experience was definitely less than stellar.

The website even gave the time you had to purchase the arrangement by in order to make delivery. My mom LOVED the arrangement. My mother, who lives in an assisted living facility, received her flower arrangement right on time. I thought the greenery was potted plants, but the person who received my gift said it was branches with leaves. When I re-read the description, yes, indeed it was suppose to be greenery. It didn't say potted plants. On the other hand, the flower selection was different, but with more in the arrangement. The display also looked bigger overall compared with the size of the container according to my friends photo. The container was exactly as pictured.

First I'd like to say that my wife loved the roses and was very surprised which for me is always the point. They did get delivery while she was still in her class room but only because she was late getting done for the day. In the Florist Instructions I put that the flowers needed to be delivered by 2PM they were not. I picked this store because they are literately right around the corner to the school my wife was teaching at. When I called at 2:30 I was first told that they had delivery option times and I had not picked them which I guess is my bad but I did explain that I did state that they needed to be delivered by 2PM and I was told and I am quoting "I see that now". Now maybe I missed the delivery times options but it really does seem to me that if they had bothered to read the Florist Instructions then they could have called me and given me the option to pay the additional cost. But frankly if you get the order the day before delivery and can't get it delivered between 9AM and 2PM 0.9 mile away without an additional charge?

I really do not feel that I got my value's worth. I wanted to surprise my wife with a bouquet just because. The gift that arrived for her had small roses that weren't open and still haven't opened. The white flowers have only shriveled further than they already were when they arrived. I get that it is a small arrangement, but the quality of the flowers used was a major disappointment. I would have been better off spending literally a fourth of the price and getting a more elegant arrangement from the bins at Costco.

I spent $160 for something I feel like I could’ve done better myself. Ease of ordering and speed of delivery we're great! Only problem was that I put a "congrats" filter on my search and then selected a mylar balloon to include in the order. There was no option to choose which exact balloon would be delivered, but I assumed it would be a "congrats" balloon since I chose that filter. I even put "congratulations" on the card/message. But the person received a "happy birthday" balloon. Pretty lame. The flowers were great though!

If I could submit a picture of what was delivered I would. The arrangement delivered was a sad representation of the picture on line. Two Lilly's, 2 or 3 mostly closed glads, no less than 10 cheap carnations, not a daisy in sight, lots of filler. I feel cheated. I understand they can't be exact replicas of the picture on line but it's March in San Diego. The
Picture on line shows 8 or 9 gladiolus. Some open and some buds. My basket had 3 total, 2 with closed buds and one opened but wilted already. Pathetic.
Will never use this florist again nor reccomend. The main thing you see are sad looking carnations. For $90.00

I ordered the flowers yesterday from Texas and they were delivered today to a grieving widow in Escondido - what time of day? I do not know. I think you would have better luck getting a review if you would wait until the vase hits the table before asking for stars. I have no idea how they looked and I am sure she would not tell me even if they were not the best. A little discretion in requesting a review would be in order.
