About the Shop
Tania has had a passion for flowers since her childhood in Ecuador, stemming from her Grandfather’s garden filled with calla lilies.
When Tania moved to the US, she joined her father’s business, where she was in charge of all of the planting and gardening. She then took a job as a helper in a market’s flower department, taking studious notes on everything they did.
With her newfound floral education, she was able to achieve her goal of getting a job as a floral designer in a local shop. However, her true dream was to own her own shop, a dream she had since she was eight and watched the ladies of Gualaceo sell and arrange flowers.
During COVID, Tania realized that it was finally time to pursue this dream and opened Cactus Flowers by Tania. This name was meaningful to her because her grandparents had many cactuses and the beautiful flower of the cactus only lasted for a day. She learned to savour the moment and enjoy it’s beauty.

Substitution Policy
In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Delivery Policy
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.
