Brown Paper Posies

My shop is based out of my house in the beautiful Sun Valley neighborhood in San Rafael, CA. Using the freshest seasonal blooms and foliage, I create unique flower arrangements and bouquets for delivery to most of Marin County. (West Marin Currently Excluded)

ABOUT THE OWNER
Liz Clark

My mom has always loved to entertain guests in her beautiful home and backyard. I would make table arrangements for her garden parties using flowers and greens from her garden. In addition to her over 50 beautiful varieties of roses, there were also Dahlias, Hydrangeas, Calla Lilies and more. Over the years, I have loved working with flowers as a hobby and am finally realizing my dream and have started my own online flower shop. I love the uniqueness of the arrangements I made from such a large variety of flowers, so I love to source from Marin County Farmers Markets, San Francisco Flower Mart as well as my (and mom's!) backyard. I try to be as environmentally conscience as possible throught my entire process. I buy locally grown roses from Petaluma whenever possible so they will be longer lasting, use biodegradable moisture packs and plastic bags for bouquets, and rescue unwanted vases from garage sales and NextDoor to give them new life! I am based out of my house in San Rafael, CA.

How will I receive a new bouquet?

Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

How often will I be billed?

You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.

How do I make changes to my subscription plan?

You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.

Can I pause my subscription plan?

Yes, you can! contact us at (925) 216-8492, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.

How do I cancel my subscription plan?

We’d be happy to take care of that for you! Please contact us at (925) 216-8492 and we’ll cancel your subscription right away.

I cannot recommend Brown Paper Posies more highly! When you are ordering flowers from a distance you wonder will the arrangement picture really match the delivered order? The arrangement that my MIL received was even better. I upgraded to "Deluxe" and there were far more flowers than I was expecting. All looked very fresh and beautifully arranged. There were challenges with delivery but Liz ensured those were overcome and my MIL was absolutely delighted. The best florist experience I have ever had!

I cannot express how happy I am with Brown Paper Posies' work. They delivered a package of headache soothing remedies (bath salts, roller, etc.) to a friend who had just suffered an injury. The package arrived at her doorstep with a beautiful fresh flower tucked into the bow and hand-written address on the tag--on a Sunday! I had originally intended to send flowers, but this was the PERFECT gift, so much better than flowers for someone recovering. The contents were lovely and tasteful and it brought real comfort to my friend. I will be sharing the word about this great shop with friends!

I love the site and it showed arrangements that were stunning. I used them because of it and when it arrived to the recipient, they immediately sent back a photo of the arrangement and said that the colors were so beautiful and vibrant. I will use them again. I ordered the fresh pastels bouquet for my mom’s birthday and it was a great experience from start to finish. First of all the arrangement was absolutely gorgeous. I love the selection of flowers and how artistic the arrangement was. Liz from Brown Paper Posies was very communicative and contacted me to let me know the status of my order and confirm delivery. I appreciate that she researched the delivery spot ahead of time and alerted me in advance of delivery to make sure my mom was there to receive the flowers. I also loved the personal touch of a hand written note to accompany the flowers. I would definitely recommend Brown Paper Posies and will plan to use them again!

Delivery Details & Tips

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.

Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.

To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.

Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.
