Boulder Gardens Florist and Plant Center specializes in delivering smiles :) and flowers. We proudly provide flowers and plants to all of Boulder's residents, businesses, non-profits and of course to all of the students and staff at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Go Buffs! We thank each and every one of our customers; local residents, businesses, non-profits and to all of our customers that visit us from other places to send flowers in our town. It is an honor and pleasure to have our flowers and plants be part of your celebrations and your accomplishments, your weddings and events, or just to add to your home and office decor. In addition to weddings, events and deliveries we also have a full brick and mortar retail store located in Boulder's downtown business area. We are very centrally located, just a few blocks north of 29th Street Mall. Pearl Street Mall, University Hill, North Boulder (Dakota Ridge/Holiday Park) and Gunbarrell are all within 2.5 miles of our retail shop. Come visit us. The fresh air is always free! Our Address in 3060 28th Street, Boulder, CO 80301. Give a call ahead and speak to one of our team members to place an order ahead of time for pick up. 303-449-5757. We also have a full green plant selection and growing our pottery and ceramic sections. If you need flowers delivered to other parts of Boulder County, Don't worry. We got you covered. We deliver daily to Louisville, Lafayette, Superior, Erie, and Longmont. We have close relationships with businesses and long time customers in all of those cities. Our same day cut off to these areas is 2PM. Our local same day delivery cut off is 3PM to ensure we have enough to give each arrangement the care and attention your flowers deserve. Boulder Gardens Florist and Plant Center is a locally owned and operated business. Our designers have 30+ years of design experience, including weddings, events, and all other special occasions. I’ve ordered from here before and been pleased with their arrangements. I ordered this one for a special event and got a designers choice ($150). I was very disappointed by the arrangement. A lot of green filler and the other flowers were sparse and not colorful. Eight roses some of which were not so fresh, some snapdragons, Lillie’s and a few delphiniums. Nothing like the picture and more greenery than flowers. I called the company at least 4 times and left messages for a call back and never received one. I’d say this experience was underwhelming and quite disappointing especially for the cost. Will out use them again.

This was my first time ordering flowers from you, as I live out of town and just trusted that they would be nice. They were more than nice, they were just beautiful and exactly as described. I used the online ordering option. It was really very straightforward. Unfortunately, the hospital address that was auto loaded was not correct. The driver went above and beyond by calling me and then clarifying where the flowers were to be sent after going to the wrong address. Fortunately, he was able to deliver them in a timely manner. I’m always a little worried when I have to send flowers cuz rarely is anyone as picky as me when it comes to beautiful arrangements. What’s worse, this time around is the very picky recipient. Boulder Gardens did such an exceptional job. My girlfriend said this is the arrangement you hope your husband gets you rather than a dozen non smelling roses with babies breath and fern. This florist is fantastic. We live out of state with our daughter attending college in Boulder. We sent her this arrangement (which she loved). This florist attempted to deliver, and my daughter was in class. They contacted me and asked when they could go back, and she would be available. I mentioned a time and their delivery person arrived on the exact time. We have ordered from this florist numerous times and it has always been a very easy process. The flowers are top notch, you will be happy to order from them.

The bouquet was delivered on time. I realize that for same day delivery the florist may not have all the flowers available that appear in the picture. The bouquet I ordered looked nothing like the picture. It was a lot of roses and did not have any of the wildflower vibe that was in the sample.

I ordered 1 dozen roses for my godson's wife to celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary. Basic order for all florists- roses in a vase. I assumed my order would be like the picture- 1 dozen RED roses with baby's breath in a vase. Mary Bachman received 1 dozen YELLOW/GOLD roses. Aren't red roses common stock for florists? I specifically wanted RED roses because they express LOVE. Mary is a 50yr old, lovely, colon cancer survivor, battling diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis, who LOVES giving and receiving RED ROSES. I'm a 67yr old retired aunt, living on a fixed income, who rarely orders flowers, even for loved ones- should I have called your business to specifically request red roses? The pictured floral arrangement below what I ordered featured yellow roses in a vase that were $25 more than my order, which I didn't want because I wanted RED roses for Mary. Disappointed.

I ordered an Easter Lily hoping it would look like the one you show in your online photo. My daughter received TWO Lilies, not one, and they were buds, not open flowers. Why did you deliver two? Were they late deliveries to your store, so they were not at all open flowers? If you have time to respond, I will appreciate that. My daughter was grateful to get the plants and will enjoy them more when the flowers open. If the delivery had been a shorter, open lily, it would be what I expected, but I appreciate your being able to take her a plant (two?) for Easter from me.My guess is you ran short of the more open balanced lilies.

We ordered a "pastel and wild flowers" a day ahead of the anniversary of our daughter and her husband. We were called on the delivery day and told that fresh flowers were coming the next day, and could the bouquet be delivered a day late? We were disappointed the right day couldn't be delivery day, but wanted fresh flowers. The florist called my daughter to tell her about the day late delivery , but she made it sound like it was my wanting "special flowers" that caused the delay! That was a little devious. I hope the bouquet is definitely worth the delay and $90!!

I was hoping for the wildflower look of the sample photo. While the arrangement you sent was pretty, all the flowers were the same size; it looked like a bouquet, not a bunch of wildflowers. And there was no straw ribbon around the vase to add to the organic feel. But the recipient was pleased, so that’s what matters, I suppose.

The arrangement you delivered for my daughter’s 48th birthday was beautiful and very similar to the photo. All the Gerber daisies were the same bright orange color and the photo showed multi colored which I like better, however I realize the limitations florist have….

The delivery was right on time. My only complaint was that the bouquet that arrived didn't look anything like the one I ordered. I really liked the simplicity of the bouquet that I ordered, but a lot of additional flowers were added which totally changed it's appearance. After placing the order for flowers to be delivered on our mother’s birthday I received a voicemail that they wondered if I wanted to wait until the next day when they would be receiving fresh tulips to have the order delivered. They said in the message that it would be delivered the day of the birthday unless they heard back. After attempting to reach them by phone multiple times to confirm delivery on the day of the birthday and reaching no one, I received confirmation that the order had been delivered. I followed up the next day and learned that nothing had been delivered and they couldn’t find tulips. I am disappointed by the misleading phone message and unprofessional way the order was handled. I cancelled and ordered from another company. I would never recommend this business.

My cousins sent me a picture of the flowers that I had sent for their mother's memorial and I was embarrassed when I saw it. The picture on the web site shows a large bouquet in a large vase with lots of flowers and I upgraded to the deluxe bouquet, so I assumed it would be bigger with even more flowers. When I need to send flowers in an unfamiliar city, I am always searching for someone will create something out of the ordinary and different from the standard online floral arrangements, aren’t you? There is also such a risk as you don’t really know what you are going to get, unless you tell them exactly how to do it. I placed an order on a Saturday morning for delivery on that day. The flowers weren't delivered, and I got no notification from the florist that the delivery was missed. I called the next day and was told the driver missed the flowers. Since timely flower delivery is the entire point of ordering flower delivery, I have to give a "disappointing" rating.

Actual bouquet was nowhere near what the online description and photo led to believe. The real one has fewer flowers than the image and is ONE SIDED. Unless you put it in a corner, any side/back view looks the tail of 20 year old cat. The vase that appears on the image is useless since it has a large hole and cannot hold water for the flowers.
Recipient was disappointed, so I would not recommend to anyone else and would not order agian.

This is completely unacceptable and incredibly disappointing. I ordered a $150 bouquet of flowers with a mixture of lilies and roses. However, as I was trying to decide between the deluxe package and the top tier package I never would have thought that the “deluxe” bouquet could be so underwhelming. It’s been 10 days since delivery and I’m looking at 7 roses (2 never opened) and 10 “Stargazer Lilies” (2 are dead and 4 are still unopened. And the vase that they were delivered in is so basic and simple that I could have gotten something twice as nice for half the price from a number of different florists, even during that time of year. It will be a cold day in hell before I order flowers from this company ever again.

I understand your substitution policy, but the flowers that were delivered were not even close to my order of Sky Blue. There was not one rose in the delivery and the only blue in the arrangement was a blue tipped carnation in the center of the display. All other colors were earth toned including the one Lilly in he arrangement. I live 11 hours from the person, a lady whom I was trying to impress on her Birthday. She was of coarse gracious, but I paid $72 dollars for what looked like a $29.99 WalMart special!! Not Happy!!!

The arrangement I got for my fathers birthday looked nothing like the picture! The flowers looked wilted and half dead they were not fresh at all, some of the flowers haven’t opened up yet. I was ashamed to present it to my father for his birthday because of how bad it looked and it was VERY overpriced I would not even pay a third of what I payed for what I got. This florist is AMAZING. I ordered a bouquet to be delivered to an address that I didn't realize was way up in the mountains... way out of their delivery radius. The florist called me to let me know they may not be able to get to the address (blocked roads, too far out for cell service, etc) but they'd try. I offered to pay more $$ and he said it wasn't about the $$, it was just really far out there and they'd do their best. No extra charge but he wasn't sure it could happen. He was super customer focused and very nice.

It looked like you just tried to fill up the arrangement with greens and not flowers. Look at your picture. Flowers are dominant not leaves. I’m disappointed. I live in Illinois and can’t be in Erie for my daughter in law’s birthday due to travel restrictions. I spent a lot of time picking out the flowers. I looked at several florists in the area. I chose yours because of the picture. Why put pictures on your website if you’re going to do whatever you want?

However, some of the flowers started wilting within 24hr even though the green floral foam was still very wet and most of the arrangement was toast within a week. I ordered this sweet basket of flowers for my mom for mothers day. It arrived on the day requested, dispute my accidently leaving out the lot number. Thankfully I added her phone number and the delivery person contacted my mom for the correct lot number. My mom said it was beautiful. I had looked through several floral services they all managed to tack on an extra $50 to my order, either charging a service fee when promising free delivery or a $24 delivery fee. I ordered the Premium version of this bouquet,and yes it had 4 more flowers, but that's it. The one pictured on the website looked better even though not Premium. Looked like there was no love spent on putting it together. No harmony in the distribution of colors or the arrangement. Just smash, wrap a couple of stems together - off you go. With delivery this cost more than 95 $ which is a lot of money. It was meant to be special, I am more embarrassed than anything about this bunch of flowers. It came on time - is the only positive thing I can mention. Very disappointed.

They contacted me, later the same day, to inform me of my error but told me they had a sister florist in Colorado Springs. They said they could have that florist make the arrangement and deliver them so I agreed. I found out, 5 days later, that the flowers were never delivered and yet my credit card was charged. When trying to determine what happened, Boulder Gardens didn’t even offer to help resolve the issue. Their personnel told me to contact the other florist....unbelievable! Boulder Garden Florist did an amazing job delivering flowers to my daughter for her birthday at CU Boulder. I requested they be sent to her dorm biut the shop callled and told me this was not possible and we foiund a solutiion (the UPS store where the students pick up fheir maiil). I called 4 times and I made the purchase in the morning of May 10 to have the delivery of the arrangement in the same day, the delivery was made on May 11 afternoon, i called two times more on the 11! it was good, but I wish delivery was not left at the door. it was not clear to me that I hade request 'not to leave at the door'. However, I got a prompt confirmation that it was actually picked up by a recipient. Made me feel much better.

I was away from home for work over my anniversary with the wife. I ordered a couple days ahead. The flowers came early in the day for the day I had asked for delivery; she was able to enjoy the whole day and was very happy with them. From the pictures they look great and are what I had ordered. I'm still away a week later and the wife says they keep blooming and are becoming more full for some longer lasting viewing. This is great! Thanks.

I ordered an arrangement online and immediately got confirmation of order and assurance that it would be delivered the next day. However, on the following day when I had not heard from my daughter by 5pm Mountain time, I called the shop to inquire about the order. The person who answered the phone did not know of the order and asked my several times how I had ordered it. She eventually found the order and when I asked if it would be delivered that day as promised, she said "if someone is there to receive it". I said that it was supposed to be a surprise, and I did not know if anyone would be there at that time. My daughter did return from supper out to find the arrangement left at the door. Just very disappointed that I had to followup with the shop, or I do not think think the flowers would have been delivered at all.

I wanted to send congratulation flowers to my daughter and family in Boulder, but living in Chicago, I had to order on line. The selection was almost endless, but the site helped to narrow my decision to a beautiful cup of bright flowers, a balloon for my grandson and a box of chocolates! Flowers were delivered on time which was great, however the arrangement was far less abundant in roses than the picture on the website. There were really only 4 large roses and a few small spray roses. The majority of the arrangement was green fillers. It was not worth it's $50 price tag.

I ordered a bouquet of flowers online for my mom for mother's day. I only did it about 2 days ahead of time, but the website said that the delivery wouldn't be a problem. I wasn't there to see them, but my mom was very happy and my dad said that the flowers were beautiful. A bit expensive, but I just think it's what flower delivery costs and it's worth it to make mom happy. The delivery man was also apparently very friendly.

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
