I attended the funeral that our recent order was sent to. I was embarrassed at the presentation. We paid for the superior (upgraded). the basket was so sparce. Could see the dirt. Need more bulbs in it along with maybe "grass" as filler...something. It would have been disappointing at the base price. Pictured is more what I expected.

Although the stargazers were not yet open at the time of the delivery, they have since been brought home from my wife's workplace and the Stargazers have now opened up fully and are providing a subtle (but not overpowering) floral smell all thru the first floor of our home.

I have ordered flowers from Blue Moon once before. I live out of state and relied on people’s reviews . My girlfriend has been so pleased with her arrangements. The flowers are fresh, colorful, and there is an array of different varieties. I would like to give a special thank the delivery man. He went out of his way and tried to call me twice. He finally left a message explaining that my friend was not home and that he felt the weather was warm enough to leave them outside. Pros - the arrangement certainly looked good and I really appreciated the quick turn around time and the call telling me some substitutions would be necessary. Cons - the substitutions turned out to be mostly red roses which pushed the vibe of the arrangement in a direction I was not intending.

While the arrangement given to me was nice, there were deviations from my instructions.
Based on the Blue Moon photo for this arrangement, I was led to believe that the arrangement had (or could have) orange flowers. Being the case that my wife's favorite color is orange, I made a request to have as many orange flowers as can be. None were given.
I also made a request to have no lilies in this arrangement, as my wife does not like these flowers. My arrangement had an abundance of lilies. If lilies came standard with this arrangement, it wasn't made clear to me.
I can provide photos of the arrangement given to me upon request of Blue Moon as a supplement to this review.
In between the time I placed the order and the time I picked the arrangement up, I never received any notification informing me that a substitution in place of lilies was not possible nor was I given a reason for an absence of orange flowers.
Given the fact that I upgraded to deluxe, I thought my requests would have been taken into consideration to the extent Blue Moon was able. If my requests are not able to be fulfilled, my expectation is that I would be contacted about options available. Having said this, again, the arrangement was nice, but I feel like there is room for improvement.

Received e-mail advising that red roses were being substituted at the shop’s discretion. Called store to see what else could be done. Advised that flowers were already out for delivery. Received flowers 4 hours later even though we lived about 2 miles away. Must have a very large delivery vehicle! Roses were not fresh as they were already open. Or did that happen while being on vehicle for 4 hours?

Blue Moon Florist was a big disappointment: they did not deliver the flowers on the day requested despite being given a day advanced notice; the flowers were a day-old when they were delivered a day late; and no consideration was given to refreshing the bouquet before delivering them late (ie the flowers look like they'd spent the night in a van: a bit wilted and browning). I would not recommend anyone spend their hard-earned money at this shop.

You obviously deceive your customers by showing them a picture that doesn't even resemble what you send. My girlfriend called and you are already sending a new arrangement. I just guess you do this consistently and assume the recipient will not know the difference. They are usually kind and appreciative, not knowing that the sender spent well over 150 dollars for a 35 dollar arrangement. Pretty simple and pure capitalism. I commend you on your system.
I suppose your ruse succeeds over 85% of the time.
If the sender doesn't call, you make one hundred dollar profit, or thereabouts.
I placed an order to my daughter on the same day and I assume that is what happened as well. I can't really blame you since the order was filled by a florist in Ormond Beach Florida.
Suffice it to say, I have learned my lesson.

The first delivery was almost a week earlier than the original set delivery date. I wasn't mad and the flowers were impeccable! When I called and explained that the delivery was early, they were very apologetic and offered to refund my purchase or send out more flowers on the intended date. I chose more flowers. Flowers always amazing; however I will never get their delivery service again. For the extra money I paid I’d expect them to be delivered on time and to the right place. If there are issues with the delivery location the day in advance is adequate time for them to notify the individual there are parameters. I in fact had to search, find AND hand deliver the flowers I paid for someone else to do. Despite this will indeed return. In short, beautiful arrangements, quite disappointing “hand delivery”.

I found out that these flowers were NOT delivered yesterday that i paid extra for. Your shop is right down the street from the delivery address and was to be delivered for the recipients birthday yesterday. What a waste of my time and $50. I would have been better served getting a bouquet and delivering it from Drexel Hill myself. I will not use your florist again, and will make sure people know that your delivery service is extremely disappointing.

How often do you see flowers delivered to your loved ones and friends that look BETTER than the pictures online?? I have had so many bad experiences wth this...until discovering this Fliriat. My mom was thrilled with the arrangement. I especially appreciated that it was made with irises that hadn't quite opened yet.
