Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

How often will I be billed?

You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.

How do I make changes to my subscription plan?

You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.

Can I pause my subscription plan?

Yes, you can! contact us at (301) 656-2167, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.

How do I cancel my subscription plan?

We’d be happy to take care of that for you! Please contact us at (301) 656-2167 and we’ll cancel your subscription right away.

We have a friend in the DC area who was hospitalized after a serious health situation. This is a great little flower shop in bethesda and the arrangements that they produce are beautiful. The cut flowers are always fresh and their orchids are very high quality. I was disappointed in the choice of roses by the designer. I had specified sunflowers, delphiniums & red roses. She called to ask my permission to use something other than red roses because she felt “red would clash with the yellow sunflowers.” I was a bit shocked by that and I told her I didn’t think so as I annually use that exact combination for the table arrangement for a party we have been giving for 14 years. I even sent her a photo of the arrangement from the party 2 years ago. But she talked me into using a different color as she said the shop had some very special roses in stock. When I saw a photo of the flower arrangement after it was delivered, I was horrified. Instead of roses of one single color as I had intended, she used multiple colors. And they were garish — pink & orange roses instead of deep red. The arrangement looked like an Easter basket of roses instead of a sophisticated and understated design centered around the sunflowers & delphiniums with the (red) roses as an accent, as shown in the photo I had sent her. I had told her she didn’t need to copy the arrangement in the photo but to look at it to see that the red roses did not “clash.” Instead of realizing that I was looking for understated, as shown in the photo, she chose to create the arrangement SHE wanted. The arrangement was a birthday & get well gift for my 70+ year old sister who has very sophisticated tastes. I was embarrassed by the arrangement that was delivered to her. On the positive side, the delivery was done very professionally & with care. The delivery person called me to give me a heads up that she had to leave the flowers on the front porch as no one answered the door. And she was willing to text me some photos so that I could make sure she had left them at the correct house.

Oh. My. Goodness. I waited to review until I received a photo from the recipient, of the arrangement that Blooms of Bethesda created and delivered. I am blown away. I chose “Designers Choice” and boy did she choose well! I am usually horribly disappointed by other florists when I see the pathetic arrangements that I pay plenty to be delivered. This arrangement was full of expensive, gorgeous blooms and very little green filler. Just the right amount of filler. Sophisticated and lush.

They came through in the end, but when I spelled my name and my kids name to her at least three (3) times and she still misspelled it, it's a problem. Come on now "Don" isn't that hard. The bouquet in this picture is lovely, and I ordered the deluxe version for a friend ($100 w/tax and delivery). However, because, I guess, the store could not source the light blue delphinium (as shown) they substituted in dried purple statice, a much cheaper looking flower and one which significantly changed the overall look and color palette. I found this out only because I called. The delivery happened on time, which I appreciated, but for this cost I would have expected the store to design the bouquet as shown. We live in a major urban area (DC), so I'm confident delphinium has to be available somewhere.

Words can not fully express how happy I am with my Blooms purchase. I ordered online from Canada for a friend who was quarantined over Christmas in a Bethesda hotel prior to starting her cancer treatment. She was without her children, husband and family. I ordered her their gorgeous Christmas tree thinking it could be delivered on Christmas Day. The wonderful florist called and apologized saying they were closed on Christmas, I agreed for earliest delivery available on Monday. On Christmas I received a call that the florist opened up her shop to make my gift and delivered it herself to my friend. I am in tears over her compassion. She truly is a wonderful person and her thoughtfulness made my friend so happy as she sat alone on Christmas. The tree was stunning. I 10 out of 10 recommend this floral shop for your floral needs.

I was very pleased with the service, but was not completely satisfied with the final product. Our family sent me a picture, and it didn't look enough like a tree, but more like a strange flower arrangement with some greens mixed in. I really wanted the green tree to be the background, while the flowers were the ornaments. Also, I specifically asked that no carnations or mums be added, and there were some mums in the arrangement. The lilies and roses were lovely though.

I called from Colorado to order a last minute Easter bouquet to my brother in Bethesda.
