About Us
Blooms & Things is a place where you can visit and expect personalized customer service. We like to take your ideas/vision and bring it all to life. We specialize in Wedding Flowers as well as Funeral Arrangements and Home Bouquets. We get especially excited about green plants, so many beautiful varieties can be found in our shop; including air plants, cactus and succulents! Our team works with fresh and silk flowers as well as green and blooming plants. If you bring us a project that you are having a hard time finishing, we can help you find the missing piece, perfect way to arrange it or just give you some helpful advice.
Owner and Albia native, Tonia Benson has been obsessed with the wedding world for as long as she can remember. Working as the Wedding Sales Manager at Honey Creek Resort since 2014 and becoming a Certified Wedding Planner in 2016, she has really found her passion helping couples to have their perfect day. Giving birth to her son, Henry in 2018 was the perfect reason for a change of pace. It seemed like a natural transition to move from venue planning into the flower field. Inspired by beautiful colors, trending floral designs and unique flowers, Tonia is always bringing new and style-forward floral arrangements to the table. She is passionate about creating customized arrangements that really suit each recipient, using different containers and designs that are pretty from each angle. Tonia has always loved weddings and wedding work, but never knew how much she would love working with families of loved one's past. So honored that people trust us to bring to life their loved one's passions and experiences through flowers. It really is just as rewarding to put together something so truly personal, bringing joy for each client and their families in such sorrowful times. Eager to please and enthusiastic about customer service, thoughtful presentation and one of a kind floral experiences, Blooms & Things strives to make each gift personal and noteworthy.

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field
during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in
advance.
