Blooming Ruby's
Thank you so much for checking out our website! Blooming Ruby's, floral gems of Ojai has a different spin from your traditional florist. We love the unique, different, wild and classical looks. We choose containers that are a step above your average glass vase, that can be repurposed for other uses in the home once the flowers have lost their shine. We try to design with the recipients' taste in mind and take great joy when we deliver an arrangement and it looks as if it was designed to be in their home! When you don't know what to order we will do our absolute best to custom your order for your needs. We recommend choosing a designers choice in your budget and in the comment area tell us about the occasion and what you know about the recipients' style! Informing us of how they dress, decorate, garden etc. will give us valuable information to create just the right gift!
ABOUT THE OWNER
Stacey Fiant
I was born and raised here in Ojai California, but would spend my summers in Wyoming. My love of flowers began as a young child. I would always be picking wild flowers and filled every room of our house with whatever was blooming in our yard or neighborhood. I also used to bring my teachers flowers weekly, wrap them in a wet paper towel and tinfoil and carry them on the bus! I started my family very young and now have 4 adult children that also reside here in our beloved valley, and 3 beautiful grand daughters as well! I spent 20 years raising my family and once they were grown I went on to college to learn Landscape Design. I worked for several years instructing and learning about our California native plants and landscape, then ended up back to floral my first love. I have worked for several retail flower shops and event florists here in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. I have learned so much from all the wonderful designers I've had the pleasure of working with. I have taken this knowledge and am now fulfilling a life long dream of opening Blooming Ruby's, so here it goes! The only thing that supersedes my love of flowers is my love for people. I consider it a great privilege to represent the love, sympathy, thoughtfulness and kindness to their loved ones. I take great pride in helping others discover exactly what they want. I named my shop after my grandmother Ruby, of whom I was a miniature of, she loved making things beautiful around her as do I. Thank you for the opportunity to make something just your style

Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?
Yes, you can! contact us at (805) 302-9571, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?

I found Blooming Ruby's via a web search to send flowers to friends who live across the country. Their web site was easy to navigate, had a lot of options and very good reviews so I decided to order through them. It turned out to be the right choice. The communication during the process was exceptional and unexpected. They texted me a photo of the arrangement and again to confirm delivery. The flowers were gorgeous. Ordering from a company that is thousands of miles away from you is a gamble but Blooming Ruby's exceeded any expectations I had. Blooming Ruby's has the most beautiful flower arrangements. The service is excellent, and usually you can get same-day delivery if your like me and are sometimes scrambling last-minute for a gift. They always include a text with a picture of the arrangement before the delivery date and a confirmation text with the delivery. They also text the recipient if they are not home. The extra text can obviously be very important on those hot days in Ojai. Would highly recommend to anyone that needs a flower delivery in the area. Everyone who has ever recieved one of their arrangements from me has raved about the beauty.

We ordered the Premium Flower Arrangement which I know includes more flowers. The arrangement did have more flowers but the description for the vase and picture of the vase is not what we received. I know the website indicates that the vase might be brown, white or black. We indicated we preferred brown. It looks like it is a shade of brown, but it does not have a drawer pull on the vase like the picture! We selected this arrangement because of the Adorable Drawer pull! Stacey created a "Potted Herb Garden" for my son's Rehearsal Dinner this past weekend. We met in August to discuss my vision, look at inspiration photos and Stacey quickly went to task procuring the right look--tuscan pots, rosemary topiaries, and many traditional herbs. We also agreed on a large floral arrangement for the bar. She sent me a formal proposal after our initial meeting, and we had many texts and chats making certain we were both on the same page, and on budget. On the day of the event, Stacey was on time, working hard with her crew, while creating a most lovely tablescape on one long table. Check out her instagram account @bloomingrubys to see the final product.. the table wasn't fully set yet with candles, napkins, stemware... but you can see what a high quality job she did. Following the the event that night, she went back to the venue, loaded all potted herbs back in her truck. On our way home the next day, we stopped at her workshop and loaded two cars with all of the fresh potted herbs, which will now be my Christmas decor with gold bows! After the first florist that I tried to order flowers from failed to make the delivery, I found Blooming Ruby’s online. I live in another state and was trying to have flowers delivered to my sister-in-law in Ojai who is recovering from surgery. Blooming Ruby’s service was excellent and so was the flower arrangement. I was sent a text message with a picture of the arrangement once it was done being created and another message immediately after the delivery letting me know whom they handed the flowers to. do not even know where to start. I called Blooming Ruby’s from Louisiana and spoke with the owner Stacey. I requested flowers, balloons and snack boxes to be sent to 2 college aged family members who were thousands of miles away from home. Stacey typically does not do balloons or snack boxes but didn’t hesitate one second to say “I got you’”!!! She made the most stunning flower arrangement I had ever seen. She went to the grocery..TWICE... to pick up a bunch of snacks for the girls and made both deliveries herself!! The girls were so overwhelmed and so appreciated a little comfort from home. They will never forget this and neither will I. In a world like we live in today, where stress is high...you find a true GEM like Stacey!!! Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
