Nestled in the heart of Hart, Michigan, Birch & Blossom is a locally owned, independent florist dedicated to crafting stunning floral arrangements, thoughtfully curated events, and unforgettable in-shop experiences. We proudly serve Hart, Shelby, New Era, Pentwater, Walkerville, Rothbury, Ludington, Muskegon, Whitehall, Montague, Hesperia, Mears, Silver Lake, and surrounding areas. Our Story Birch & Blossom began in 2022, born from a lifelong love of flowers, nature, and art. What started as a passion project in our kitchen quickly blossomed into a dream realized—a full-scale floral shop in a historic downtown location. Founded by Noble and Joseph Graham-Lattin, lifelong Oceana County residents, our shop is built on a deep-rooted commitment to our community and the joy that flowers bring. Our mission is simple: Let Happiness Blossom. We strive to create meaningful experiences through our designs while supporting local businesses, artists, and growers. Whether it's a breathtaking wedding arrangement, a heartfelt sympathy bouquet, or a just-because floral surprise, we believe that flowers have the power to brighten any moment. What Makes Us Unique At Birch & Blossom, we don’t just sell flowers—we design one-of-a-kind floral experiences. Our approach blends creativity, artistry, and sustainability to ensure each arrangement tells a story. We offer both pre-designed pieces and fully custom arrangements, tailored for every occasion. From scene-based casket sprays and elaborate wedding arbors to themed bouquets and large-scale installations, our talented team brings each vision to life. During Michigan’s growing season, we source florals from five local West Michigan growers. We’re also committed to sustainable practices—recycling, limiting plastic use, reclaiming vases for rewards, and offering refillable products like hand soap and body wash in our gift shop. We also offer dried and preserved floral art, in collaboration with Cash & Courtland, including framed designs and resin-encased keepsakes. In-Shoppe Experiences We believe flowers and creativity bring people together, which is why we offer a variety of hands-on experiences right inside our shop. - Pour Your Own Candle Bar – Create your own custom-scented candle with our collection of premium fragrances. - Terrarium Bar – Build your own mini world with plants, stones, moss, and unique touches. - Pot & Adopt – Choose a plant and a pot, then learn how to care for your new green friend in a fun, informative experience. - Floral Clinics – Join us for workshops where you’ll learn floral techniques, design tips, and the art of arranging with intention. Whether you’re crafting something with friends or learning a new skill, these experiences are filled with joy, creativity, and a little bit of floral magic. Gifts and More Our gift shop features products from over 30 Michigan-based makers and small businesses. You'll find locally crafted candles, soaps, ceramics, and other beautiful, high-quality gifts to accompany your floral selection. Delivery and Service We offer same-day local delivery within a 40-mile radius for online orders, and can deliver even further for phone-in orders. Foirst 5 miles are on us, then .65 a mile up to 40 miles. Looking to send flowers out of state? We provide nationwide delivery through a trusted wire service network of independent florists. Growing Toward the Future In 2026, we’re opening a new venue in the historic Heggs Gallery of Fine Furniture building, a beloved local landmark once part of Michigan’s early auto manufacturing industry.
