In 1937, Shigeichi and Yukie Nakamoto had one vision: To share the highest quality flowers with Hawai‘i. Driven by a desire to make people smile, the couple opened Beretania Florist on Nov. 19, 1937, in Honolulu.
Eighty years later, their vision for a happy and beautiful community lives on through one simple gesture: the gift of a flower.
Today, Beretania Florist continues to thrive, and currently is owned and operated by Celeste Nakamoto Farinas — Shigeichi and Yukie's granddaughter. The company's beautiful floral designs and strict flower quality values has led to numerous recognition, including being voted Hawai‘i's Best and Japanese Chamber of Commerce's Generational Award.

Substitution Policy
In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Delivery Policy
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.

Delivery of arrangement arrived less than 24 hours of the order placed!! Very impressed!! I ordered a small arrangement for a colleague who's fur friend recently past. I placed my order late Thursday evening for next-day delivery. I was concerned the order wouldn't arrive in time since it's natural for my colleagues to call it an early day on Friday. The beautiful arrangement arrived right around noon; just in time. Thank you to the wonderful team at Beratania Florist.

I live in California and my sister just relocated with her family to Hawaii. This situation has been a roller coaster for us as a unit and to top it all off it was my sisters birthday. Beretanias Flower shop made our day! They completed the order and delivered it making her day complete.
