Beet & Yarrow
Nestled in The Source, a former iron foundry-turned local business hub just north of downtown Denver, you’ll find Beet & Yarrow, a full-service floral design studio and mercantile. Owner/designer Kimberly Hyde and her team bring together their multi-faceted talents in horticulture, graphic design, beekeeping and ecology to create a distinctive floral experience with a quirky, balanced and deeply thoughtful aesthetic.
ABOUT THE OWNER
Kimberly Hyde
After 8+ years of general design work, Kimberly discovered a new love for horticulture and pursued a collaboration of the two, which lead to floral design and the birth of Beet & Yarrow. After 5 years in the industry, she still needs dirt under the fingernails and a little sweat and physical labor in the garden to feel inspired. For the growing season, this means a portion of Beet & Yarrow's product is home grown. Some is bought from local growers and the rest is purchased through local wholesalers. After hand selecting every floral material and processing each stem with care, she and her team strive to bring an element of curiosity and wonder to every arrangement.

This is the second time I have ordered flowers for my mother from Beet & Yarrow. I love the arrangements and options online, but I have been disappointed by the quality of the flowers with the both purchases.
With the first purchase (2018), my mother showed me a photo (we live abroad) and the flowers had brown edges the day she received it. We called your company and our feedback was handled in a very professional way. My mother received a second bouquet at no charge with fresh flowers and it lasted two weeks at her house with many compliments.
With this most recent purchase (4/2019), the flowers were not brown at the edges, but they were just a few days away from turning the corner and in my mind were a few days too advanced to put in a bouquet at this price.
It is a shame because the arrangements offered by Beet and Yarrow are unique and beautiful. It is important to me to support local florists. My suggestion is two-fold:
1. For online orders and deliveries at the normal price, use the freshest flowers possible
2. Offer a lower-priced option for flowers a few days further along (day-old bread for example)

Of all the local florist Beet and Yarrow had the best selection of the most precious looking arrangements! For the comparable price of just an ordinary arrangement elsewhere, I was able to get a really lovely and special one with Beet & Yarrow.

From Europe, I ordered the beautiful Jovie arrangement for my Denver friend's birthday. It was reminiscent of an Old Dutch Master's still-life painting. She loved it! The ordering process was painless, the delivery had some challenges due to my friend's movements but the staff was responsive and she received it in the end. Honestly a little disappointed. I upgraded to the Deluxe arrangement; however, within two hours of my wife receiving the flowers, the peony had already fallen apart and the size of the arrangement looked no different than what was pictured for the standard size. Albeit there were a few buds included, but the amount of blooms was underwhelming for such an upgrade. Makes me wonder if the pictures on the website are true to size as they are listed.

We felt that the flowers delivered were not as pretty / full as the photo on the website. The actual bouquet delivered had more of the "filler" flowers as opposed to the statement flowers which made it less desirable. However, the website is very user-friendly which made it easy to purchase and the customer service was great.

Bianca from Beet & Yarrow was a dream to work with. I ordered a centerpiece from the website and accidentally clicked the wrong delivery date (my mistake) and yet she returned my call promptly and totally fixed my issue immediately. Beet & Yarrow has the most unique flower arrangements around. I loved that they send me a picture of the bouquet before it went out! Because I ordered the "Moroccan" due to its yellows, and a bowl that would go with my mother's decor, the actual arrangement looked a lot different. I asked them to make it more like the one in the picture, which they did, and resent a picture. The customer service was impeccable. This is clearly a creative, out of the box florist! I would suggest removing the picture if the vase is no longer available, and putting a picture of the actual one.

Beet & Yarrow was exactly the type of florist I was looking for. They have that modern/hip meets rustic flare style. I ordered a succulent arrangement in a ceramic pot for delivery to my friend. My note was hand written on a brown tag which added a nice touch. They send you a photo via email once it's finished so I got to see that everything came out perfectly.

Delivery Details & Tips
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field
during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in
advance.
