Growing up in Pasadena, California, Carey developed a passion for anything that Blooms. As a young girl, Carey's mother carried her through countless tours of Pasadena's Lush and Expansive Huntington Gardens. There, the Budding Floral Designer, found her eye for Design and love for all things Beautiful. Carey is a 5th generation Angeleno and 4th generation UC Berkeley graduate. Carey’s love for Gardening and Floral Design has been passed down for generations, beginning with her Great-Grandmother, Florence Bixby. In the decade of the 1920’s, Florence Bixby designed one of Southern California’s most Prolific and Celebrated Gardens on the grounds of her Rancho Los Alamitos Homestead. Rancho Los Alamitos along with it’s Gardens has been preserved as an Historic American Rancho and is a popular tourist attraction situated atop Bixby Knolls in Long Beach, CA. Having spent more than a decade honing her Floral Design skills in the World's Cultural Capitals of Milan, Florence, London, New York and Hong Kong, Carey returned to her Los Angeles home and started her first floral design firm, The Well Dressed Table in Beverly Hills, a Celebrity Favorite. Carey's Floral Designs have been featured in countless Magazines including InStyle, Architectural Digest & the Los Angeles Times, and have graced the tables of events as exclusive as the Golden Globes & Oscar after parties, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Disney Hall, Hollywood Movie Premieres, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, & the Los Angeles Modernism Show. Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.

Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
