The cup in the photo looks tall and the flowers being larger. The bouquet came so little. And I chose this specifically for all the light pinks for her favorite color like the photo but it had more purple instead. The mug was also not very pretty and had a weird chunky design on it. She was happy for the surprise but I was disappointed when I saw it in person.

I recently needed an arrangement and, after looking online, was disappointed in the big box shops. They were overpriced and delivery fees were outrageous. So I searched for locally owned shops. Barb's not only gave me a wonderful bouquet but I didn't even have to make a decision since I got the florist's surprise. Delivery was about half the cost. It was delivered in a timely manner and the recipient loved it. Couldn't be happier. This shop is on my go-to list now.

We ordered two hanging baskets from Barbs, the flowers were beautiful....pots not so much. I called and talked to Barb's she explained they purchase hanging baskets from a local nursery and unfortunately didn't see the pot. She was very nice and offered to send a flower arrangement. I said no thats fine just wanted to let you know about the pot. Today my mother n law received another hanging basket from Barb's. We have purchased flowers in the past from them and definitely will in the future. Thank you Barb's flowers for sending another basket.

Great online experience, delivery was on time, one disappointment was that the flower arrangement looks bigger in the web-picture and I was disappointed from how small it was. It was beautiful and fresh, but significantly smaller than what it seems in the picture.

Hello Inbar, I am so sorry that the photo that was taken showed the arrangement smaller then you saw on the website. This arrangement is not that large of an arrangement. It is normally done in a 4x2x6 cube glass vase. I talked to the designer that day and she did not have the 4x2x6 vase so she did sub with the shorter vase 4x4x4 but it was filled to value. Ive been sending flowers to my sister in Oregon for years with Barbs. My sister sent me a photo of the flowers. For the first time I am a bit disappointed. They certainly are not as full as the photo on Barbs website. For the price, I should have gotten exact as pictured.

I did use some other colors but it did have yellows, orange, reds and lavender. We do not always have what is exactly pictured and if it is something completely different we will send a sub notification. I know we were out of coral roses so used orange roses which is a perfect sub. I recently ordered two floral arrangements from Barb’s Flowers for my grandfather’s funeral.
The dozen white roses specifically stood out the most and were absolutely pristine. The quality of the flowers and the care put into the arrangement was exceptional.

For those with specific expectations, I recommend selecting a specific arrangement to ensure it meets your vision rather than opting for the florist’s design. Nevertheless, Barb’s Flowers designs provided a lovely spring design and made sure it aligned with our vision.

I have been ordering flowers from Barb for years now. I tried a few places in Roseburg before finding Barbs, but now I don’t order flowers from anywhere else. My go to order is Designer’s Choice and I’ve never been dissatisfied with the results. They use fresh, in season flowers and create beautiful arrangements. I highly recommend ordering flowers from Barbs!

I chose the Designers Choice flower arrangement for a friends birthday and it was stunning! The arrangement had a wonderful variety of flowers, all color complimentary to each other and arranged beautifully. The person who received it texted me all day about how much she loved them and how happy it made her. The flowers were beautiful and very fresh. My only issue is getting a call the day before they were supposed to be delivered to tell me there was going to be an additional delivery charge. If your automated system calculated these fees based on the ZIP Code I provided, calling me to tell me that in order for the arrangement to go out, they would need to charge me an additional $15 was highway robbery.

While the flowers were lovely, you can bet I will go back to Parkside for all my future orders

Hello Mary, Our automated system does go by zip codes, but it does not recognize rural addresses. This delivery is a 25.00 delivery fee. (it is almost to Glide OR. but still considered Roseburg). On our website it does mention that we will notify you if we need to call for additional funds. We do keep delivery fees and flowers separate as some places will take the delivery out of the floral arrangement but we do not do that, as we want you to get what you pay for.
I am so sorry that you felt this way. Our goal is to offer the best in customer service as well as a good product. Please know you can always give us a call to discuss any issues. Thank you, Barbara

Bummer. So I order online to be delivered as I’m across the country for work and I wanted to brighten up her day. So I found one I liked and upgraded to premium (it says best selection and more flowers) and added a tip so I spent about 150. I was contacted that they had none of the flowers the bouquet I bought had. But they assured me they’ll make it better and gave me a few flower substitutes. It is the saddest bouquet. It was suppose to come with the purple roses and I communicated if they were out of all the other flowers that were suppose to be in it I just wanted those primarily and I preferred the purples. So I upgraded for the best selection. there were literally 4 roses and the rest is Foliage with just a few of the cheapest flowers placed through not even full. And they used droopy Eucalyptus when it looks like palm in the picture I ordered. The shape and look of the bouquet was suppose to be at least similar but it wasn’t. Even the color was far off. They had yellow and orange. If they had me exchange for a different bouquet of followers that was in stock it would have been better I imagine. hopefully?

I have used Barb's flowers before and have been 100 % satisfied. However, this time although the bouquet was beautiful, the card read, "Mom! Happy birthday!" (why are you yelling?) with no signature. What I requested was that it read, "Happy birthday, Mom! We love you! Love, Trevor and Jo." The card made me look like an illiterate millennial. It embarrassed me in front on my mother in law (who is a retired teacher), and I am a teacher as well. Not acceptable. Someone needs to look up appropriate use of exclamation points and keep an eye on staff?

The hanging plant arrived on time. However, it was not a beautiful pink geranium as pictured. It was instead a purple petunia that only had about 4 branches to it. My mother was still happy to get something from me but went to town and bought a geranium to put in the hanging basket with it to make it look more full. For the price I am a bit disappointed.

I spent almost 70 dollars to have flowers sent to my daughter at school. Flowers were great but for 9 dollars delivery they should come to the right address. Luckily they were delivered to the nice neighbors, the people in the other trailer would have kept them. Have a big "Spc 1" sign on our porch so not sure how the delivery person missed it. I am on disability and don't like to gamble with my money so probably won't order again.

Hello Stephanie, I am so sorry you were not happy with the bouquet we sent. We do use photo stock from other companies so the photo is is mocked to show more then the actual recipe calls for. If we get in Spray roses that do not have long laterals then it is hard to make 1 stem of spray roses be spread out. I do know that the bouquet did have 1 stem as the recipe calls for. I wish you would have contacted us as we could have taken care of this for you over the phone. Just know we do strive to always do the best job we can. I know at times things do get passed us. Please know if you can give me a call I will offer you a discount on another order that you may place in the future. Again.. my sincere apologies. Barbara

I unfortunately wasn’t impressed with the bouquet that was sent to my mom for Mother’s Day while I was out of town. I ended up paying $53.00 total and the bouquet was a lot smaller and didn’t look like what the image showed it would look like at all. My mom even made a comment about the size of it and she hoped I didn’t pay a lot for it. I understand everyone’s time is worth something and it was a busy holiday, but this completely missed the mark and I unfortunately won’t be ordering from here again.

I live out of state and so I was not familiar to the flower shops in the Roseburg area. I read reviews on the different shops and Barb’s Flowers customers seemed to be pleased. Barb’s flowers have often done a good job, but my most recent order didn’t turn out close to what was purchased at all. I understand there were issues with inventory, but I basically got the St. Nick bouquet and not a deluxe Merry and bright. Not sure how many roses come in the standard, but I would expect at least 6 in a deluxe. The arrangement was pretty, but I don’t think it was what was agreed upon or worth the money. Too bad.

The delivered flowers were beautiful, but the “country basket” in the picture advertising the product looked like it would be higher quality and reusable. The presentation of the flowers is the reason I chose that product. I loved the basket.
The actual basket delivered looked nothing like the picture. Not high quality at all—cheaply made and white in color. Not what I was expecting.
I wish that change was communicated before the flowers went out for delivery, so I could have chosen something else.

Please don't waste your time and money dealing with another florist, they're not comparable. I used Barb's for Mother's day and can't stress enough how awesome and professional they are. I entered the wrong street address and didnt realize it until the day of delivery. Know what? It didnt matter, they handled it and made my mom's day even though her son is an obvious mouth breather. This was my first time ordering a flower arrangement online. From just a picture I pulled offline and the colors of flowers I wanted to fill the arrangement their florists made a custom arrangement that surpassed the example I had provided and the vision I had in my head. Delivery was right in the time frame I requested and service was great. The arrangement made my mom's Mother's Day and will only get more vibrant as the buds in the center continue to bloom. The hand written notes are a nice personal touch as well rather than just printing. I will definitely be ordering all of my flowers from Barb's for any special occasions.

A picture of the flowers were sent to me and I was embarrassed by what was dropped off. It did not remotely look like the picture. The stems were not cut, and the long stems were just thrown into a vase. There was no arranging g whatsoever.

The only thing we did not have was the dusty Miller like I mentioned in my Yelp reply to you.
I believe this bouquet looked better. We subbed garden roses for standard. We added in wax flower, silver dollar eucalyptus and lemon leaf. (The online order is roses, carnations and dusty miller)
I again am very sorry. If you could have called me at the shop I’m sure we could have done something to make you happy. I hope the recipient enjoyed the flowers.

We know it's hard to purchase online, sometimes the received product isn't always what you believed you were ordering. This is slightly the case for the arrangement received. This arrangement was chosen for it's overall yellow colored details, with yellow carnations and purple daisies. However, the vase received was pink and yellow carnations were excluded. We know variations have to happen but overall the received piece should look very similar to the online photo or an email should be sent to the purchaser advising them of what substitutions need to be made based upon the available stock on hand and give them the option of selecting something else.The most important part of a delivered floral arrangement is the life span of the flowers. I received 2 arrangements and neither one looked like the pictures. I went on your website to compare what I received and what was advertised and the website only shows one photo for each arrangement... the words say there are 3 levels but there are NO pictures of other levels. The STANDARD photos say: "Bouquet will be delivered approximately as pictured." Whoever purchases arrangements based on the photos expects the arrangement will look at least similar to the sample photo. The version of Dance with Me that I received had 2 roses and 5 fully opened carnations with 7 buds. The picture shows 24 carnations. Today is the 3rd day and the arrangement still doesn't remotely resemble this picture! It is so sparse it that if I had sold it it would be embarrassing to me (in the past I had a second job as a floral arranger and did many special occasion events.) The other arrangement I received, Together at Twilight, was supposed to be purple/lavender and my daughter specifically asked for those colors because that is one of my favorites, but all the flowers are PINK except for the stock which is magenta. This arrangement also looks sparse-looking but at least it has the same number of flowers as the photo.

I will say that the flowers themselves were excellent quality (although the stock is already wilted.)

Hello Dave, I know that you were unhappy with your arrangement when I spoke to you on Sat. as you said the arrangement looked disheveled. In this review you wrote that the arrangement does not look to value. I will be sending you a email to give you the actual recipe for the Dance With Me Bouquet by Teleflora. As for the other arr. that you mentioned in your review, I ordered those flowers in specifically for that order. I feel we got as close as we could to the lavender. As you know Flowers are perishable and we try to always have enough things on hand to fill orders. We may not always have the exact color but we do our best. We strive to be the best we can be here at Barb's Flowers. I feel bad that you are unhappy. I will be refunding you for the Dance with Me Bouquet. You will see that we did add in more then the recipe called for but I want you to be happy. I hope after my email you will reconsider your review and turn it into a positive one.

Looking on the internet for a local florist to deliver flowers to my wife’s sister, I found Barb’s flowers. I placed an order for an array pictured on the website. Within 15 minutes, I received a call from Barb’s that they couldn’t provide that exact arrangement, but would put together a similar colorful arrangement. They delivered it 2 hours later. My wife’s sister called that evening thanking us for her beautiful flowers.

Hello Sherrie, regarding the order that is still pending for your granddaughter. We have left a voicemail and I replied to your email to let you know we will attempt another delivery but the address we have was not correct. My driver could not find the address. Also the phone number you gave us was incorrect. So we are still waiting to hear from you on this information.
Please give our shop a call on Monday so we can come to a resolution. My driver did attempt the delivery and she did talk to you that day and you told her that you would have your granddaughter pick up the flowers.

I live in California and my Sister lives in Winston Oregon. I wanted to send her a Christmas Plant Basket and searched for a florist in her town. After looking this was the best basket I saw. I ordered it online Friday the 21st and it was delivered to my Sister in less than an hour. I live in Florida and needed to send flowers to a niece of Oregon which she would take to my sister's surprise 75th birthday party. I found their website easy to navigate so that part of the experience was what was expected of everybody. The more impressive part was that, when they needed clarity on a particular point, they called and asked for my preference. I think many florists, at least those doing a long distance order would just do what they think best. Here, they called asked what I think best. My niece contacted me after the delivery and told me that the flowers were beautiful.

I usually don't write reviews, but in this case I'll make an exception. I found Barb's Flowers on the internet. She has a GREAT website. I live in Kansas and ordered birthday flowers for my sister in Oregon. Barb called me personally when not all of the flowers in the selected arrangement were available and described what she could put in their place. After delivery she sent me an e-mail letting me know the arrangement had been delivered. It was clear to me that Barb really cares about her customers and will do whatever it takes to make them happy. P.S. My sister LOVED her arrangement and thought the flowers were "beautiful".

I recently needed to order flowers for a funeral service in Roseburg. Not being from that area and preferring to support local businesses instead of placing a generic order online I reviewed the area florists and chose Barb's Flowers.
The bouquet was delivered to the venue as requested and contained beautiful fresh flowers. When I received a photo of the bouquet I realized that there was a mix-up on the flowers compared to what had been described on the website. I notified Barbara and received an immediate response. She looked into the order and provided exceptional customer service, apologizing for the mishap and going above and beyond to make things right.
I would recommend Barbara's Flowers in the future. Barbara clearly cares for her customers and that is very much appreciated.
