At Backyard Garden Florist we design and install private and corporate events and weddings as well as provide flowers needed for your year round celebrations. We are a full service florist that also offers numerous options for home décor and interior designers. Our showroom is filled with beautiful gifts and home accessories suited to all styles and budgets. David Valentine has been manager of Backyard Garden for over 22 years. David is adept at working efficiently within the flower market to provide clients with a fresh and unique flower selection from around the world. Inspiration, creativity and dedication are at the forefront of David’s work ethic.
Backyard Garden Florist is owned by Nino Gagliano. He opened the business in 1992. For the past 32 years, Nino has provided outstanding service to his clients and the community. His natural ability along with his desire to continue to educate himself on cutting edge design helps keep him as one of the most sought after designers in the area. Nino was awarded his Master Designer certificate in 1994 and has studied with many world-renowned florists in the industry. How will I receive a new bouquet?
Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
How often will I be billed?
You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?
Yes, you can! contact us at (315) 445-0530, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?

Hi Teresa. I'm sorry you didn't feel the arrangement you ordered was large enough. Several factors go into the pricing of an arrangement including the varieties of flowers used. In your case we chose roses, stock, tulips, gerbera daisies, alstroemeria, chrysanthemums, ginestra, and lemon leaf in a 8 3/4" bella style vase. The arrangement itself was approximately 16-18" tall. We certainly could've used a few more economical flowers and used a taller vase if we knew you wanted a taller arrangement. Whenever a designer's choice arrangement is ordered, there is a box to add any direction/guidance you would like us to see before we begin designing. I'm sorry we fell short of your expectations on this occasion! We hope it doesn't prevent you from ordering with us again. Hi Mary Ann. I'm so sorry you were disappointed in the arrangement you ordered! Unfortunately due to supply issues, we occasionally have to make minor substitutions to the orders as stated on our website. In your case we used yellow roses rather than orange and pink tulips rather than yellow. We attempted the delivery on Friday 1/27 as requested. When we arrived, no one answered the door. We called and left a message letting the recipient know we had a delivery for them. We re-delivered the arrangement on Saturday 1/28 and were successful at 10:17am completing the delivery. Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field
