A beautiful bouquet but was disappointed with how small it was. For $75 + tax + delivery fee I expected it to be larger. It would've helped to have a photo of what the Designer's Choice bouquet might look like instead of a generic stock photo of hands holding some flowers.

Hi Teresa. I'm sorry you didn't feel the arrangement you ordered was large enough. Several factors go into the pricing of an arrangement including the varieties of flowers used. In your case we chose roses, stock, tulips, gerbera daisies, alstroemeria, chrysanthemums, ginestra, and lemon leaf in a 8 3/4" bella style vase. The arrangement itself was approximately 16-18" tall. We certainly could've used a few more economical flowers and used a taller vase if we knew you wanted a taller arrangement. Whenever a designer's choice arrangement is ordered, there is a box to add any direction/guidance you would like us to see before we begin designing. I'm sorry we fell short of your expectations on this occasion! We hope it doesn't prevent you from ordering with us again. Recipient shared photo and it was as nice as the picture. Delivered on time and was nice to get an email confirming delivery.
As a longtime customer of Backyard Garden, I have many, many positive experiences. I've sent dozens of roses to my wife and countless arrangements to family, friends and clients and the reaction is always the same. They ask "where did you get such beautiful flowers?". As long I'm still sending flowers or other arrangements, I'll call Backyard Garden!

Unfortunately due to supply issues, we occasionally have to make minor substitutions to the orders as stated on our website. In your case we used yellow roses rather than orange and pink tulips rather than yellow. We attempted the delivery on Friday 1/27 as requested. When we arrived, no one answered the door. We called and left a message letting the recipient know we had a delivery for them. We re-delivered the arrangement on Saturday 1/28 and were successful at 10:17am completing the delivery. Great experience! At the last minute, I decided to send my girlfriend some flowers at work for her birthday. I used the very customer friendly web page and placed my order for a “Designers Choice” arrangement and advised of my girlfriend’s favorite flower and color in the comments section.
The order was delivered about 2 hours after it was ordered and it exceeded expectations! It Is an absolutely beautiful arrangement that she (and her co-workers) absolutely loved! It was a huge hit!

I ordered a "designer's choice" arrangement for Mother's Day, assuming that the florist would pull together something fresh and unusual since they would not be limited to recreating a picture (and the fact that I was spending almost $100). My mother sent me a picture of the flowers that were delivered and I was absolutely appalled. There was no "arrangement" at all - just a bunch of overly long stems shoved into a too small vase. It is a straggly mess. I honestly would have done better - and gotten a much higher quality result for a lot less money - if I had grabbed a bunch of flowers from a bin at Wegmans and put them into a $5 glass vase. I am beyond disappointed with Backyard Garden Florist. Even if they were overwhelmed with orders for Mother's Day they should make an effort to maintain their usual quality and artistic standards.
