I wanted to send flowers to a friend in the hospital. I saw the online reviews and decided to give Athletic Club Flower Shop a try. I used the online contact form because I had a few questions. I promptly got a text and was able to handle all questions in a few minutes. I got text notices all during the process letting me know my order was on its way, when it was delivered and a photo of what they looked like. My friend was so pleased and surprised by the flowers. I ordered the designer's choice and asked that the arrangement be bright and cheerful. It was gorgeous. I wouldn't hesitate to order again and highly recommend this florist.

Hi Athletic Club Flower Shop! Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the flower arrangement that was delivered. I had ordered the “deluxe” size and the arrangement that was delivered did not look deluxe nor had any resemblance to the photo online whish was the reason why I ordered it. The flowers looked dull, lifeless. I was in the office when the flower arrangement arrived, so I got to see it personally. Your team generally does a great job so you can understand my disappointment. Not worth what I paid.

I only order flowers from this place in LA for when I need to send flowers to family in LA. I live in Georgia, so my orders are always either done online, or by phone and they always get it right! I ordered Bowl of Beauty and upgraded to Deluxe. Total cost with delivery was $182. Disappointed because some of the flowers were wilted and the arrangement was not uniform—2-3 flowers were placed high and it looked odd. Very disappointed because I live in northern California and my mother-in-law (mil) lives Southern California. I went online to locate a reputable local florist to my mil to avoid wilting flowers, and I end up paying almost $200 for a local florist for wilted flowers. The colors were bright though

Who ever delivered those flowers didn't knock at the door. they where just left in front of the door. Very disappointed I played $135.00 for flowers to be hand delivered not to be put in the yard. Not professional at all.

The first arrangement was nice but I didn't think it measured up to the Designer's Choice $80 that I ordered in January. The designer created another arrangement that was wonderful and really special for the Birthday Girl, Nancy. She said she "adored" the arrangement and it really helped to make her day. I am from LA, relocated to the Bay Area. I have ordered several bouquets for my LA family from Athletic Club Flower Shop and they have all been GORGEOUS. True to the pictures on their website. They don't skimp on the stems or add lots of "filler." The flowers are fresh & last at least a week. Love the new Snap Bloom feature & delivery notifications. Friendly & responsive staff. I live in Florida and wanted to give my daughter-in-law in LA a beautiful bouquet, "just because", so I looked for the best florist in Los Angeles. I did not know what kind of flowers she liked, so I selected the Designer's Choice, and told the designer to do modern, with some teal blue. My son sent me a video of the flowers being received and the card being opened. My daughter-in-law cried with joy. That's the effect I was hoping for! She loves them. Athletic Club is my "go-to" solution for flowers from now on!

For Valentines Day, I ordered the deluxe version of this arrangement for my wife. When the arrangement arrived, some of the flowers looked a bit tired and by the end of the day, many were drooping. As this did not meet our expectations, I called and spoke with an incredibly helpful gentleman who refunded the entire amount paid. I have ordered from the ACFS many times before and had always been impressed with the quality and the service. Although we were disappointed with the order we got this time, I am impressed by the way my complaint was handled and will definitely continue to use ACFS for that reason. Thanks!

I ordered a dozen long stem roses plus chocolates plus a stuffed animal for Valentine's Day.
The flowers were delivered and looked as pictured but the chocolates and stuffed animal were NOT delivered with the flowers. I called and left a voicemail and it was returned within a few minutes, and they sent out another delivery specifically with the chocolates and flowers. I'm impressed they were able to do this on Valentine's Day.
If the situation wasn't rectified I would have given 2 stars, but the quick resolution bumped it back up to 4. Would have been 5 if they didn't forget part of the order on the first delivery.
I'd order again from Athletic Club Flower Shop thanks to their customer service and good quality flower arrangements. :)

We are very disappointed with the arrangement that was delivered. We chose the "Premium" option, which (for an additional $40 dollars) promised more flowers and a higher quality arrangement over the "Standard" option.
The flowers in our "Premium" arrangement were browning on arrival. The arrangement included only 5 tulips. The image advertising the "Standard" arrangement shows an arrangement with 7 tulips. I wrongly assumed that a $40+ option would come with more tulips, not LESS. Very embarrassing to have been delivered on Valentines Day.

Hi,
I recently ordered the all white bouquet for my girlfriend's family who just had someone pass away. Unfortunately, no one was home when the delivery was made. However, when the family got home, they noticed the bouquet was in the middle of the walkaway, directly in the sun. The delivery person only needed to place the flowers a few feet further up the walkway next to the stairs for it to be in the shade. Also, the family arrived within an hour after the delivery, so we don't believe the sun moved that much during the time. Overall, the flowers were dried up and they could tell the flowers were not going to last more than a day or two at the most. Extremely disappointed as I have used your services before with complete satisfaction. Please let future delivery personnel know to leave the flowers in a shaded area.

I was not pleased with my first experience with Athletic Club Flower Shop. I spent over 100 on an arrangement and they delivered it two days early. It was clearly their mistake and they didn't have an explanation for why it was delivered early. One of the employees called to apologize, however didn't offer a solution to make it right. It wasn't until I asked him if I gave them a second chance that he offered me 30% off a future order. I asked to speak with the manger but was told that he was on vacation. The employee that I spoke with was adamant that he spoke with my wife and she was ok with the early delivery. What kind of person would say bring them back in two days??? Of course she said it was ok. To make a long story short, 30% off is not enough to use them again. I used them because I wanted to support a local florist and not one of the big flower companies. Very disappointing!

My girlfriend love the flowers and the service was on time. Only complaint I have is the balloons. I requested happy anniversary balloon, my girlfriend receive a I love you balloon. Which is ok because I love my girlfriend. But what if I was sending flowers to a friend for their anniversary? The balloon was not a big deal but it would be nice if the website can state what balloons are available. I will most likely use athletic club flower shop again.

My only complaint was that I had written a bunch of things on the "special request" section, and though I completely understand that these requests may not be able to be fulfilled, it would still have been nice if I received an email response with a reply concerning my requests.

I did the order online and I had them sent to my boyfriends work and he LOVED them! When he came home and brought them they look exactly like the picture! The reason why I did not give it a full 5 stars is because the note that comes with the order the writing looked very fast and a bit sloppy. I know the workers are probably busy. But the overall I was extremely pleased! I would deffffffff order again and again :)

I thought the ordering experience was very straight forward and the flowers were delivered within three house from the time I placed the order. The arrangement came out just the way the picture looked and the lucky woman who received them was very please. All in all a good experience.

Pros:
1) Beautiful bouquet
2) Delivery service was right on time
3) Wife happy for Valentine's Day
Cons:
1) Literally the day after Valentine's Day, the roses were completely wilted. Clearly these were not great quality flowers.
2) There were 3 price levels. Base, Mid level offering more flowers, High offering freshest flowers. I paid extra for more flowers but would have preferred a middle option offering fresher flowers (I prefer quality over quantity). However, with this pricing plan, the cost would have been outrageous just to receive ordinarily decent flowers. Now I just have a larger bouquet wilting in my living room than I ordinarily would have.
