Beyond running the day-to-day operations of a full-service florist, Matt has a passion for designing & creating art through florals. He loves incorporating fabulous blooms & unique foliage together when designing to create a stunning, breath-taking look. Matt has lived in Athens his entire life and truly loves being a part his community. He is proud to carry the namesake of Athens Florist & continue to make the next 50 years the best.

Well seeing how it was supposed to be delivered to my mom on December 26th for her 82nd birthday and it wasn't I am a little disappointed. The local florist did call me to say they would not be back open until January 2nd and it would be delivered then or I could have a refund. I appreciate that she called me to let me know. They're should be some way on your website to specify those things. Maybe like a calendar with certain days greyed out.

Unfortunately, my experience with Athens Florist was disappointing. I ordered 3 weeks ahead of time to ensure the flowers I wanted would still be available, as the occasion was only a couple days after mother's day. There was no issue with that. The flowers were exactly as pictured, however, they were not of good quality. Some of the flowers had damage, a few even had holes in them, and some of the leaves had dead spots in them as well. Overall, this would have been a beautiful arrangement if only the flowers had been healthy. Sadly, because of this, it was not the special birthday surprise I had hoped it would be.

Sadly the flowers looked NOTHING like the advertised picture - they were badly arranged and very sad looking rather than the beautiful, uplifting arrangement displayed in the picture. I live in California. I ordered flowers for my mother and they were picked up by my nephew. When he picked it up they gave him the wrong flowers which was like 3 flowers. He showed what I ordered and they gave him the right one after 20 minutes. The card we wrote and expected it to be with the flowers never was made. Very disappointed with the experience I had with your company.

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.

their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
