Floral design is not just visual; proper construction determines longevity, balance, and how a piece performs from design through delivery. Working in a constantly evolving design industry, Sherri follows current trends while applying technical design engineering skills and foundational mechanics required to execute them correctly—skills that are rarely taught in today’s design industry. Decades in the field have also provided firsthand insight into the less visible realities of the floral industry, including sourcing practices, seasonality pressures, pricing manipulation, labor economics, supply-chain shortcuts, and delivery logistics. This perspective is informed by a deep knowledge of the history of fresh flowers and the floral trade, from traditional handling methods to the ways modern systems impact quality and longevity. Her background includes extensive experience navigating professional etiquette and emotional context across all types of occasions. Each design is approached with awareness of setting, audience, cultural expectations, and situational tone—ensuring arrangements are appropriate to both the environment and the moment they represent.
