About Us
Ambrose Garden is a premier florist located in uptown New Orleans. The owner, Gene Luke, is a long-time resident of New Orleans and has been creating beautiful floral arrangements for over 30 years. His floral designs have been enjoyed by many visiting celebrities, and even an occasional visiting royal throughout the years and have served to create a special ambiance at countless weddings, debutante balls, carnival events and special events. Several of Gene's floral arrangements have also been featured in such magazines as Elle Decor, Southern Living, and Victoria and St Charles Ave Magazine. Regardless of the occasion, every floral arrangement from Ambrose Garden is crafted with the same care, pride, and passion.

Hello Jerry, so sorry you were unhappy with you order from October 14. The order came in at 10:22 AM for same day delivery. We were out of red roses and could not get them the same day as all orders for our floral wholesalers in New Orleans must be placed the day before. We reached out to sender to see if a substitution of a pink rose was acceptable which permission was given. The pink rose used is the pink O'hara rose which is a more expensive and large, very fragrant and long lasting rose than the smaller red roses which are beautiful but lack fragrance. Most who receive the O'hara are blown away by its beauty size and fragrance and it has become one our best selling roses for its show stopping appearance and beautiful scent. I am sincerely sorry you were not pleased with its showy presentation. If you give Ambrose Garden another chance I will make sure that it is exactly what you are envisioning. My sincere mea culpa. Hello Madison, I am truly sorry you were not happy with the orchid decor. We promptly rectified the issue by transferring the beautiful large double spike plant to an oriental blue and white porcelain cachepot. I am very sorry about the clay pot, 90 percent of our orchids are sent in terracotta pots as it seem the most natural and compliments the beautiful plants. It is the most requested container from my customers. During holiday times, to speed up production, we dress several in different price ranges and then tag them when sold. I should have noticed the Bloomnation mark on the invoice and realize it was an oriental pot. The lemon yellow silk ribbon bow was my choice as I thought it complimented the yellow throat of the white orchids and it certainly looks beautiful with the blue and white porcelain. Again, my sincere apologies for the mishap during this hectic and trying time as this was our first week open since a two month city wide closure and I have to get into the grove of noticing every detail during the hectic crazy times. Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
