About the Shop
Absolutely Flowers was born in November 2004 as a new and exciting floral boutique in Hutchinson, KS. Mitzi Alexander AIFD and Karen Maness have over 70 years combined experience in the floral industry. Flowers, creativity and service are our passion. We are committed to offering the freshest and most creative floral arrangements. We have an amazing variety of wonderful candles, delicious homemade fudge, and an incredible selection of permanent florals. Our entire staff is dedicated to offering impeccable customer service and share our commitment to quality.
We have been featured in Floral Management Magazine, we were runner-up for 2008 “Retail Florist of the Year”, and have won 3 separate awards for our wedding work in Florist Review Magazine.
Locally we have been voted Hutchinson's favorite florist for over 10 years running.
Substitution Policy
In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Delivery Policy
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.
