The roses with baby’s breath were pretty but the ballon wasn’t even inflated, it had a hole in it and was leaking. I asked for it to be delivered after 1 but they got there earlier, luckily she was still at work.

The flowers that were received didn't look like the picture and I paid for more than the basic flowers. When I called I was told they didn't have enough of the correct roses, but never called to ask what I wanted as a substitute. They also put in several short spray roses that were too short to get any water. The flowers died quicker than clearance roses from Kroger's. They have been disappointing in the past. This was their last chance and I'll be going to a different florist next time.

We are so sorry that you were disappointed in the arrangement. Unfortunately, we cannot always have every single flower pictured, and will often have to make equal or nicer substitutions in order to meet delivery deadlines when requested. (Spray roses are actually more expensive that regular roses, so this was a reasonable sub.) Since you had requested that this be delivered ASAP, that's what we did. (It was delivered at 10:25 a.m.) Regarding any flowers that do not hold up, we will happily replace them if we are notified within 24 hours of receipt.

I ordered the arrangement at least 3 days in advance and requested it be delivered on Feb. 10th in early morning. I called that morning to see if it had been delivered and it had not. Don't think it was delivered till late afternoon and the recipient died later that afternoon, so I don't know if they received it before death. I have used Abel before and have always had great results. This was a delivery disappointment, maybe because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Actually, your order was delivered at 8:37 that morning, as requested. I think when you called, the person you spoke to was getting your order confused with another order that we had just received that was going to the same facility. Because of the week's heavy order load due to Valentine's, the delivery was not confirmed until afternoon, which made it appear to be delivered late. I apologize for the misunderstanding on it.

The delivery woman I dealt with was rather rude. Also, she ended up calling the recipient to ask where to deliver the flowers before even trying to go to her apartment, therefore ruining the surprise. I was extremely disappointed in the arrangement.
I was notified that the vase would be different, which is unfortunate since that was one of the deciding factors of this selection. Although I did see on the website that it may not be the exact same, if the store doesn't have it, it should not be displayed. I do want to add that the lady that called, was very nice, so I do appreciate that.
Although disappointed in the vase, I was extremely disappointed with the flower arrangement. Yes, the bouquet looks like it includes the same flowers from the photo, but the spaces and holes in the arrangement was not worth the $60 paid (with the sneaky tax and delivery fee it went from being $40 something to $60, and I did double check, that is not in the fine print on the site. I was under the assumption that the price I saw was all inclusive.)
I usually shop in Gainesboro, Fox Florist, but waited until the last minute on Sunday to decide to order for this birthday - in addition to it being a county away. However, the florist I use would not have sent an arrangement with holes, and would not have charged me that much for what I got.
I have always heard great things about Abel Gardens, but be taking my out of town business elsewhere.

My sister sent me a picture of the flowers after she received them. She loved them and thought they were beautiful. My only disappointment was the picture online showed the arrangement with purple daisy like flowers, but they were not in the arrangement that was delivered. The purple flowers was one of the reasons I picked that particular arrangement. Regardless the flowers were very pretty and she loved them.

I requested same day service before 4:30pm, and they were able to fulfill that request. It was easy to order and I really appareciated that. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the flower plant that was delivered had different colored flowers (online showed orange, hot pink were delivered), was in a different pot, and had a bright pink bow that was also not in the picture. I was not expecting it to be exactly the same, but I would have never guessed it would have been so different. They were sympathy flowers, so I wanted something a little more subdued and a little less baby shower-ish.
