A&K Floral Design is black family owned/operated in the Eagle Rock section of West Orange, NJ. It was established in 1906, formerly known as Freytag’s Flowers, and has changed ownership four times, continuously serving the floral needs of West Orange and surrounding Essex County communities.
We are committed to offering only the finest floral arrangements backed by service that is friendly, professional and as time sensitive as possible. Our large assortment of fresh flowers is carefully maintained in our expansive four-door refrigerator. We take pride in our warm and inviting space where you can surround yourself with flowers as you wait in comfort for your arrangement to be created. Substitution Policy
In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Delivery Policy
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.
