Serving the Bayville/Toms River area since 1975, A Blossom Shop is a family owned, award winning, full service florist. We understand that flowers are expressions of your feelings for your friends and loved ones so we are dedicated to providing quality floral gifts and timely, professional delivery. Whether it's for the birth of a new baby, an expression of sympathy or sorrow, a corporate gift, a romantic occasion, or just to show that you care, our designers will create a floral arrangement that is sure to express your true feelings. ABOUT THE OWNER
Stacey Cofka
Stacey Cofka is a second generation florist that currently owns and operates her family shop which opened in 1975. After working 12 years in marketing at the Atlantic City casinos, Stacey decided to go back to her roots and purchase the family business in 2004. Over the last few years, Stacey has been recognized by various floral institutions such as FTD and the Asbury Park Press. In 2010, Stacey won the Industry Service Award winner for her work with Flowers for Kids program. A Blossom Shop Florist has also been recognized by Bloomnation as a 5 star rated florist. The Asbury Park Press yearly readers poll has listed A Blossom Shop as "one of the best" florists in Ocean County since 2009 as well as Best Florist in Ocean County for 2021. Stacey is a member of the Toms River Sunrise Rotary and Ocean County Business Association.

I ordered the birdhouse bouquet for my Aunt due to my Uncle passing and it arrived within a hour of me ordering. I knew the shop was close to her house but that was amazing. Employee at shop was empathetic and nice when I called to question early/incorrect delivery and apologized for shop's delivery date error.
Disappointed about mistake and size of balloon. Nevertheless, recipient liked the arrangement and the employee's kindness and friendly nature is appreciated.

Thank you Stacy for an amazing, quality experience! My husband and I wanted to send my mother-in-law flowers for Mother's Day and were eager to find a shop local to her. Your business came up via a Google search and we found your offerings unique and selections beautiful. We purchased the "Birdhouse Bokay" to be delivered Saturday - the day before Mother's Day, only to be reminded that she was departing Saturday morning for a cruise! A quick call and voicemail that night turned into a return call from Stacy the next morning and an offer to deliver the flowers same day, giving my mother-in-law a couple of days to enjoy them. My mother-in-law was not only surprised, but absolutely thrilled with them. We live two hours away, and although I haven't had the chance to see them in person they look absolutely stunning from the photo she shared. Based on past experience we would never get this type of customer service or necessarily quality had we gone with a larger chain delivery service, or even one that partners with local florists. It's hard to pin down who they partner with and the quality of work. You will forever have a customer in us for any of our floral needs in the Island Heights/Toms River, NJ area.

I ordered flowers for my mom for Mother’s Day and being that i live far away i was afraid if what will b delivered will be as on the site. The arrangement was gorgeous, and if anything better. The flowers were beautiful, however, the picture online is much nicer. We expected more. The bouquet looked fuller online, and seeing them in person, we were a bit disappointed. It didn't look like a $40 arrangement.

During a holiday we go through a lot of flowers and sometimes they are not fully opened. We would be happy to pick up and replace the arrangement if you are not completely satisfied.

I ordered an arrangement online, the process was seamless, I was updated that my order was received, then when it was getting delivered and when it was actually delivered. The delivery was in the morning, which was amazing, and my sister in law loved the flowers. I ordered flowers to be delivered to a friend that had lost her grandmother. I felt terrible seeing as I reside out of state and couldn’t be with her during this time. Thankfully A Blossom Shop was able to bring our hearts together by delivering a gorgeous bouquet to her at record speed! In my opinion five stars isn’t nearly enough to show my gratitude. The plant was more than i had expected when i saw it at the funeral service. It was breathtakingly beautiful and sized just as shown. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. I have gotten flowers from there which were beautiful as well.

I was very pleased with A Blossom Shop, especially their service. They did not have the plant I originally ordered and they contacted me by phone and email to make sure I knew. They offered to substitute a different plant and have it delivered the same day or order the plant I originally chose.
