I searched a lot of local florists to send flowers to a family member in reno and loved the Woodland O'Hara display, it was classic, clean and beautiful. Not cheap but willing to splurge, what arrived had tall purple tulips and yellow daisy with a few sticks and a few of the flowers from the picture but looked nothing like the woodland O Hara with a completely different flower and color scheme. I was pretty upset and emailed the Nursery twice to no response. so decided to write a review so people ordering from far away and paying almost $200 for flowers can know what may happen

I have used your services at least a dozen times over the years and I ended up disappointed this time. I had a good friend in the hospital and needed to get her flowers asap. I selected a specific bouquet and received a call that most of the flowers were not available. The person was pleasant and told me that she would do her best. The arrangement wasn’t even close and I didn’t feel that the cost was equivalent to the specific arrangement I purchased

It was delivered to the wrong address, all though it was clear on both houses and the address given. We had no owl on our deck so I was confused when they said a wooden deck with an owl on it. It ruined the surprise.

This arrangement was so beautifully put together- I promise the photo doesn’t do it justice whatsoever. The colors are so vibrant and the contrast against the foliage is honestly breathtaking. If you want to make someone feel special, you really can’t go wrong with this one. The pail adds an extra touch of cuteness that makes it so great to have in our home! The flowers were amazing and passed the great smell and arrangement test. The delivery wasn't as great. Thankfully I listed her cl number, or they would have missed delivery. They showed up after closing and had to meet her in the parking lot, right before she left to go home. The idea was to have them delivered to the office during normal hours, so her co-workers could see them.

Another gorgeous work of art from Moana Nursery! This is my fifth or sixth order from them and I just found them within the last two years at most. I live in Seattle and my parents are in Reno. I wanted to find a florist who I could turn to every time I wanted to send them flowers. Moana’s flowers are always in pristine condition - arrive looking like they were just cut from a garden - and every time I order a bouquet, my mom sends me pictures saying, “I think this one’s my favorite!” This beauty was for my dad’s birthday and my mom happens to love all the Fall colors. I told her that each time I send them, they are for both to enjoy. Did I mention how wonderful their staff is too? They have never failed to blow me away as maintaining the quality with every order clearly is in their DNA. They are a master of their craft! My mom shared that they are also where she likes to go to buy plants or other garden needs so you have to check them out. Wish they had a shop here in WA!

It's clear that whoever is putting together their arrangements is an artist and that this is their craft. My family has loved every delivery, but the one that arrived for Father's Day, the "Autumn Twilight," was by far our favorite! It was a gorgeous bouquet with such beautiful flowers and colors! The ordering process on your website was a breeze. It would be nice to actually see a picture of what a Luxury Designer's Choice bouquet looks like, however. I spent $200, and a shot in the dark with the selection, hoping its colorful, beautiful, and a unique arrangement with some character. Never delivered and now awkward moment which caused embarrassment. We try to use local when possible but this is why local is not always the best source. The woman I spoke to the shop was friendly and accommodating, I live in NYC and my dear friend was hospitalized in St Marys. The website was so easy to use and given the circumstances, I most likely order again.
We are from the Midwest so the fall is important and symbolic and the Autumn Twilight looked warm, sweet and perfect.
While I knew most shops must substitute,
I was embarrassed when I saw what was delivered. It was harsh, unbalanced and the white and maroon looked cold.
I send flowers all the time and spending $160 even in NYC is usually sumptuous even if it’s small.
I am sorry to complain - I really am. I have never written anything like this.
Next time I will carefully discuss substitute flowers - type and contrast. Also, the least it could be was the shape and contours arrangement in the photo . Compact, lovely and symmetrical.
Perhaps as it was the end of the day and there wasn’t much left.

The plants that arrived didn’t look like this picture at all. I know it says there are substitutions, however, the plants delivered looked like baby plants while the one on line appears more mature and fuller, much fuller. I wish I could attach the photo of the one that arrived.

The flowers were beautiful, my daughter loved them. the only difference was the vase that they came in was pretty standard and not what was pictured. The actual delivered arrangement doesn't look anything close to the pictured arrangement. The plants are not close together, the pot is not similar and I paid an extra $40 for the "premium" upgrade, which was adding a bright pink flower. It looks like something you might pick up in a grocery store or perhaps Lowe's. The "from" at the end of the message was also omitted, so they didn't know who had sent the arrangement.

Ordered flowers for Mother’s Day a week in advance of the holiday. I ordered them to be delivered the Friday before Mother’s Day. Come Sunday, the flowers had not been delivered. I called and it took the woman 10 minutes to locate my order - I told her I had my order number ready but she kept insisting looking the order up by name. After she finally found my order, she confirmed that it had never been delivered. She apologized and said they’d add the cost of the delivery to the bouquet I’d ordered and deliver it ASAP. When I called, it was 11AM...the flowers were finally delivered at 6PM on Sunday. The flowers themselves left a lot to be desired. The bouquet received was much more sparse than the photo online, even with the supposedly “added” value to my bouquet. Will not order from here again.

I wish I could attach the photo I requested from them to compare against this photo. Under any other circumstances, you just have to trust what is being delivered but we are in the same business complex and I saw your delivery driver going up to their door. I completely understand that depending on the time of year, things need to be substituted but with the description and picture online, the delivered product seems to be lacking the luster of what I was expecting.

Flower arrangement arrived a day after scheduled delivery date. The excuse being the roads were bad according to voicemail. That was strange given there wasn’t any weather that day and roads were absolutely fine. Flowers did arrive eventually a day late but were left at doorstep in the freezing cold with no call, text or knock. I’m glad I paid $18 for this delivery service (sarcastic). Not impressed with the service given the cost of the arrangement.

I called Moana florist about a sympathy bouquet for an older neighbor who had lost his wife in December. His eyesight is not good so I wanted something that smelled good and provided a little festivity since his wife had decorated so beautifully for the holidays. The florist asked all the right questions and ultimately made an evergreen centerpiece and put some holly so it had slight holiday vibe but wasn't overly Christmasy. The picture is purple half bloomed tulips with lots of greenery. I received white tulips that were still unbloomed and closed bulbs and not a lot of greenery around it which really took away the wow factor and made it look like I bought something cheap . It was my moms birthday and she loves purple. I was hoping to present her with a beautiful arrangement of purple tulips bloomed, like the photo. The wow factor like the picture on the website. It was nothing like that at all and definitely wasn’t worth the $50 I spent on it. It was more like a $20 arrangement. The flowers were nice and fresh which was good, however the website is very misleading when you order online I expected to get what I thought I was paying for like the photo advertised . I would like to include a photo of what i received so you can see for yourself the big difference of what was shown verses what I received.

Oris called me the morning of stating that he was at the location of the funeral to drop off the flowers, but no one was there yet. I am very disappointed in the arrangement delivered to my mother for her birthday. This looks nothing like the secret garden picture below. I ordered a light, colorful, airy and cheerful arrangement full of height and almost whimsical, and she received a dark, dense heavy, droopy and dreary arrangement. I picked the secret garden displayed below because of how it was pictured: bright uplifting light and cheerful so you can imagine my disappointment when I received this picture of what was delivered. I understand there can be differences from the picture based on what’s available in the store but this doesn’t even come close and I’m extremely disappointed. I have no doubt there are ample flowers and it is of an adequate size for the arrangement I paid for, but the point is I paid for something I thought my mother would like and instead you delivered something I would have never selected for her.
I order flowers from you every year for my mothers birthday you’ve always come through with good arrangements. I merely want to call to your attention this was an extreme disappointment. If customers can’t rely on some resemblance to the picture, then why even give the customer the option to select and shop for just the right arrangement for a loved one.

From what I heard last night the srrangement was beautiful. Blue is her favorite color. She appreciated the call before the delivery and said the young man who delivered the flowers was so sweet. Shame on me, the arrangement had at least two lilies. The recipient is very allergic to those flowers so the delivery boy carefully removed those before she took them into the house. If you could provide some replacement for the lilies it would be very much appreciated. The recipient lost her husband last week and Friday was the second anniversary of the death of her youngest daughter. The flowers were the prefect way to let her know we are thinking of her.

The arrangement itself was lovely, but the delivery was poorly handled. I asked for the arrangement delivered on the 18th, for the recipient's birthday. Instead, delivery was attempted on the 17th, which would have been disappointing but fine, if the thing had just been left on the porch. Instead, the recipient got a call from the delivery driver saying that there were flowers there but no one was home to claim them. She had to say, "ok, just leave them there tomorrow," which sort of takes the surprise/convenience out of flower delivery. Happy Birthday I guess.

Very abundant with a beautiful vase and right on time!The customer service was excellent and the care in making sure the flowers arrived when she was home, rather than left out in the elements was a special bonus. I'd like to start out by saying I order flower deliverys several times a year and generally stick with a business if I continue to have good experiences. This year for Valentines day I needed to place an order and because the recipient had changed job/location I decided to check out other options due to increased costs and delivery charges of the normal florist I had been using. The search led me to the Florist @ Moana Nursery and after reading a few reviews and checking out online prices I decided to give you all a shot. So I ordered this floral arrangement and a fruit basket. My girlfriend received the delivery in two hours after my on line order. She called me and I couldn't believe that she got is so fast! She was extremely happy with the arrangement and the fruit. She was eating one of the bananas when she called me ;-) This is the best florist that I have dealt with in years. I had the most wonderful experience with The Florist at Moana Nursery. With ease, I ordered online. I made an error, however, and put in the doctors street address instead of the hospital address where my mother is staying. The person I dealt with not only researched and found my mom, she had her son come to work early in order to deliver the gorgeous arrangement to her first thing yesterday morning.
