Joy Flower Shop is a family-owned flower shop in the city of Carmichael. With over 20 years of experience, we promise exceptional quality and design in our flower bouquets. Come visit our mom-and-pop store on 7630 Fair Oaks Blvd in Carmichael and meet the Florist. We promise to make you feel right at home! Our Story
Kim always had a passion for flowers. As a stay-at-home mom, she always found herself arranging flowers in her spare time. To her, arranging flowers is living art and the most treasured gift you can give to another person. From the back of her kitchen, Kim would arrange exquisite floral arrangements and give them as gifts to family and friends. People loved her flower arrangements so much that they encouraged her to open up a store in Carmichael. With her kids all grown up, it was the perfect time for Kim to turn her dream into a reality. In 2012, Kim opened Joy Flower Shop in Carmichael, CA. She is now the shop’s head florist and manager. Kim’s husband is the friendly delivery man and her children greet and work with clients.

Our mission is for our customers to be able to send beautiful flowers with confidence and peace of mind. We strive to treat all of our clients as family and we always give our best to our family. Spreading joy one flower at a time, Joy Flower Shop promises to make both you and your loved ones happy.

Shipping & Delivery
We always do our best to accommodate our customers’ delivery needs. However, we are not always able to guarantee delivery at a specific time of day, especially during busy holiday periods. To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Delivery Instructions field during checkout. Before major holidays, we strongly recommend that you place your orders several days in advance.

In most areas, orders placed as late as 1p.m. in the recipient's time zone can usually be delivered that day (earlier times may apply to some areas and at holidays). Saturday and Sunday deliveries are available in some areas for orders placed by 11a.m. in the recipient's time zone. If you are unsure, please call us.

Taxes are based on prevailing rates in the area of our store location.

Funeral Arrangements
Funeral arrangements typically require additional lead-time. If your sympathy or funeral order requires delivery at a specific time of day, please try to let us know several days in advance so we can best accommodate your needs. Sunday deliveries may not always be available.

Delivery to Hospitals
We are experienced at making deliveries to hospitals. When placing your order, please be sure to include the hospital name and telephone number, the name of the recipient and room number or ward of the recipient. We will send your gift bouquet in accordance with facility procedures, as most hospitals do not allow florists to personally deliver to individual rooms. Please note that many ICU patients are not permitted to receive flowers. Please check with the hospital before placing your orders.

Recipient Not Home
If you have specific instructions for the delivery of your gift bouquet, please note them in the Special Delivery Instructions field during checkout. In all other cases, if the recipient is not at home when we attempt a delivery, we will either:

- Call the recipient to schedule an appropriate delivery time
- Leave a note on the recipient's door asking them to contact the florist to schedule a delivery time
- Leave the arrangement in a covered, secure area of the home (porch, garage, or other entrance)
- Leave the gift bouquet with a neighbor and place a message on the recipient's door with this information

Substitution Policy
Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers are necessary due to temporary, regional availability issues. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, we will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.

Privacy & Security
We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. SSL encrypts your order information as additional protection against the decoding of that information by anyone other than us. However, despite all reasonable security precautions and processes, such as password protection, encryption technology, and use of firewall technology, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your Personally Identifiable Information, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to or from our Site, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we will take commercially reasonable precautions to protect its security on our systems.

Cancellation
To provide you with the best possible service, you can cancel your order at anytime prior to delivery. If your gift is en route or delivered, we will be unable to cancel the order. To cancel an order, please call our store.

Refund Policy
If you are for any reason unsatisfied with the quality or accuracy of your order, please contact us to report the problem.

We are happy to replace a bouquet with the same (if possible) or a similar bouquet if the wrong item is delivered or if the bouquet arrives in sub-standard condition. In order to qualify for a replacement, the following conditions must be met:

For any return: replacement request must occur within 2 days of delivery.
For quality refunds, replacements or store credit we require a photo of the bouquet taken and delivered to us by email or phone within 72 hours (3 days) of delivery.
Proper care of the flowers must be taken – we cannot guarantee freshness or beauty for flowers that are not watered and well cared for.

For bouquets that are not shipped at all, we will provide a free replacement bouquet or full refund if desired. For bouquets that are delivered late due to a processing error, we will provide a replacement bouquet or full refund if desired. For bouquets that are delivered late due to an incorrect address or a recipient not being present to receive the package, we cannot provide a refund. In certain situations with extenuating circumstances, we may provide a replacement bouquet. If this is the case for you, please contact us via email at myjoyflowershop@gmail.com.

From time to time a flower ordered may not be available due to quality or availability issues. In these rare instances Joy Flower Shop does reserve the right to substitute a flower of equal or greater value. We cannot provide refunds in these instances, and we appreciate your understanding. 

For bouquets that arrive late due to storms, earthquakes, hurricanes, lightning or other acts of god that slow down our shipping partners, we may provide a replacement bouquet on a case by case basis pending timing of delivery of the original bouquet.
