Hello Pauleen,
Thank you for your feedback. We try to do our best with every order with the daily shipments we get. The orange lily is a different variety of lily then the one in the online photo where the individual head stems are longer and you can cut them and place them perfectly facing any direction we please. If we cut the orange lily head it would not reach the water. We have to work with every flower stem that most of the time is grown a certain direction. The little greenery in the arrangment is still eucalyptus but not same variety because it was not available. We have given you a round bowl vase, peach gerbera daisies, peach stocks, blue hydrangea and orang lilies as is in our online photo. We come as close as possible to photos as much as mother nation and the flower mart is allowing us.

I really appreciated the extra effort to deliver when I had made a typo on the address. The arrangement does not look much like the photograph I selected and the white roses are kind of squished down in the middle of purple overload. So I wish it were a closer likeness. However, I really do appreciate the efforts made!

To be honest, I didn’t have super high expectations because of all of the pro flower issues I had in the past with beautiful display photos then receiving something awful later. Anyway, I ordered from a local florist for my mother’s Birthday. I grew up in the area, and wanted to go with something that was local to her. I was beyond thrilled with the photos she sent me. The arrangement was so much larger than I anticipated for the price. She is so happy with the freshness, smell, and presentation. I will continue to order from them for anytime I need flowers in a pinch. They delivered for an extremely reasonable fee, they were there awaiting her return home. I am super impressed all the way around. Highly recommend.

This was a first time purchase so I waited to see if the flowers were going to last before reviewing. Prices and delivery fee are fair. Easy online navigation with all as pictured and as ordered and delivered. Beautiful deep red blooms of roses. I originally thought the flowers were opened more than they should be. As it turned out they continued opening and became huge even 9 days later. The roses have completely opened and still look beautiful. I will order again from and highly recommend Crescenta Valley Flowers. Thank you for not disappointing

The flowers are beautiful however the website and following email updates are misleading and frankly ruined the surprise sending/receiving flowers should provide. I ordered online Sunday 2/18 morning for delivery same day. No issues choosing that Sunday delivery day on the website calendar. I received an email confirmation of the order, to be delivered 2/18. The flowers were not delivered until 2/19, only AFTER I called the store to see what happened. I was told the store is closed on Sundays. WHY would you let your customers order for delivery on a day you’re closed? To make matters worse, all email updates after delivery on the 19th say the order was delivered on the 18th! Extremely frustrating and embarrassing for me, the sender trying to make someone’s birthday special.

Beautiful arrangement, as always. This is the third time I’ve used Crescenta Valley Flowers. The Dahlias were a bit disappointing this time (very small and runty). But the Peonies and roses were lush. Excellent delivery at my wife’s place of work. Four stars only because those Dahlias were an important part. But I always recommend this florist.

Since you asked, when I first ordered the arrangement I asked to have a picture of the finoshed product sent to me b4 delivery, was not.
After the recipient recieved the arrangement, she sent me a picture, was smaller than expected and clearly not $100 arrangement, looked slightly like pic but hydrangeas were pushed back and not flowers were not arranged with care, seemed like was rushed. I use to arrange flowers for weddings and have experience in this field.

The flowers my daughter received from me were not what I expected. The selection that I made was based on uniqueness of flowers. It was to be a tall candystripe amaryllis as the attraction. From the picture she sent it appears she received pink lillies. There was to be a tulip and a green mum flower. The container was to be silver with a thick white ribbon and a jewell on the front. She received a wooden box with some greenery and white flowers. Disappointing, especially since I priced up to premium.

My experience: I asked for a photo of the arrangement to be texted to me after it was created because it was being sent to a memorial that I was unable to attend. I did not received a reply letting me know that it is their policy not to send photos. When I called to ask about the photo, I talked with a very nice person who answered and who let me know about their policy. I understand that customers can be demanding and thus the policy; however, the policy should be posted on the website or they could have responded to my text. So I think they could do better with customer service. I trust that the arrangement was beautiful as alluded to from the website photo and from talking with the employee whom I phoned.

I paid the delivery fee of $ 13 that was offer in your website to get this delivered before Mother's Day and I received confirmation that the orchid plant was delivered on 5/13 at 6:14pm but I received a call from the recipient on Monday after 6:00pm that she just received the plants after Mother's Day. I asked for the refund of delivery fee since I paid to get the plant delivered on 5/13 but I have not received a response as of yet.

The tulips drooped within 2 hours of pickup. Had to return the next day to have them replaced.
Two days later one of the chrysanthemums fell off and had to be thrown away. Then small black bugs began to infiltrate the arrangement.
I had other flowers in the house that were also purchased for mothers day at a different vendor and have held up perfectly.
I really wanted to support a local business and try out your shop, but I have been very disappointed in the purchase and will not return.

We were very distressed and surprised to see this order came without a vase. Especially since pretty much all of the images of the arrangements on your website show flowers in vases, and this arrangement was your number-one featured design.
Also, we specifically stated in the delivery special instructions that if no one was home, to leave the flowers on the back porch, not the front porch. The delivery person left the flowers lying on the hot bricks of front porch to wilt in the direct sun, rather than on the fully-shaded and easily-accessible back porch as instructed.

Since the bouquet was titled daffodil basket it would have been nice to see a daffodil in the item delivered. While pretty I chose it because of the daffodil. I did read that you had the right to substitute other plants, just never guessed you'd substitute the daffodil given it was in the title. Thank yo for your prompt delivery. The delivery was made on time and in an orderly fashion. And the quality of the tulips was good. However I ordered the "premium" upgrade and was disappointed with the quantity of tulips that were actually delivered in the vase. The photo on the site depicts a vase containing at least 2 dozen (24) tulips (and I assume this is a photo of a "premium" order). However, the bouquet that was delivered had far fewer than that. A very generous estimate would be 1 1/2 dozen (18). And I believe the actual number was lower. So customers be aware that if you upgrade to a "premium" option, you may not be getting much for your money. That is my only complaint.

Crescenta Valley Flowers always has the best flowers and arrangements. My first purchase with them was my wedding 27 yrs ago and all the flowers/arrangements I ordered were absolutely beautiful! They are so easy to work with and made picking flowers fun, and arrived time. Dec, 2022 We decided to send our Mother birthday flowers, we ordered them on there website (since we live out of state) on Friday evening and they delivered them the next day per our request. Our Mother received them and was so excited to receive them and just loved the arrangement of plants and flowers in a basket. The arrangement was prettier and bigger than there website picture.

The flowers and arrangement were gorgeous, but I do have a suggestion that would have made the experience better: can you please just print out the message left for the card instead of having someone write it? The card had handwriting that was difficult to read and words misspelled from what I had written in the message space from the online order. Printing messages on card stock for arrangements would probably be easier for the staff, too, since no one has to write it out.

I was expecting the delivery to be sooner than that. I have no problems with the flowers(absolutely beautiful), but the delivery could have been way sooner than 6:30pm. I will still order flowers with you but hopefully the delivery service can deliver earlier in the day rather than 6:30pm

i ordered a beautiful arrangement for my mother in law to be delivered with a box of chocolates, unfortunately the flowers that were delivered seemed old already and had some holes that looked burned through some of the petals. they also forgot the chocolates that were added to the order. she had to take the flowers to the flower mart herself and had to remake the arrangement while she waited, which was great they were able to do that for her.

I’ve always been happy with the flowers but this time was so disappointed when my mother in-law sent me the photo of her flowers. They looked nothing like the picture and I fully understand some flowers may not be in season but this was such a departure. There was no green around the inside of the vase either. Delivery was in La Crescenta (so very local) and paid $10 for delivery which I wouldn’t have minded of the flowers looked remotely close to the picture. Delivered on time so 5 stars for that but will think twice about ordering again from your shop again.

The first time, I ordered weeks in advance for Valentine's Day when the flower service I had been using wasn't taking any delivery orders for that day, and the recipient said the Cresenta Valley deluxe version I got her was the best bouquet she'd ever received - from me or anyone else!

I would say it was a very good experience except for the fact that they forgot to include my name on the card that came with the flowers. So my sister didn’t know who they were from until I asked. That’s a pretty big mistake. My digital receipt shows the complete message but somehow that did not get translated to the actual card delivered to my sister. However the bouquet was pretty and they did a nice job with the substitutions they had to make because the flowers pictures weren’t available.

Although the flowers were beautiful, I feel like there is a bit of false advertising. The image shows the flowers in a glass vase, but arrived in a white round, lower quality vase. Another downfall was that they show you a beautiful typed out scripted note, when in reality they hand write it. Honestly, who ever did had really rushed and bad hand writing. At this point it is about presentation. Delivery and ordering was easy and convenient.

I paid $80.00 plus a delivery fee for the Deluxe arrangement with a variety of colors and it was MUCH smaller and less full than it appears in the photo. Needless to say, I was disappointed with the size of the arrangement they delivered. I ordered it online the night before and I asked that it be delivered after 10 a.m. the next day. It was delivered after dark but was left at the front door on the doormat. Everyone was home and the dogs never barked. No way someone knocked or rang a doorbell, so no one knew it was there until I asked if she had recv'd a delivery. She said no, but then checked the front porch and there was the arrangement sitting on the welcome mat. Had I not asked about the delivery, she would have never known flowers had been delivered until she walked out the door the next morning. I am thankful they delivered them on the date I requested considering my after hours online order the night before I wanted them delivered, but I was disappointed with the size of the arrangement and how it was delivered.

This Christmas, however, I ordered the photo labeled Holiday Secrets, but another bouquet of about 6 roses, no cranberries and a sprig of holly stuck into the vase was delivered - but on time, instead. I was disappointed, the recipient thanked me, but it was not what I ordered. I called CVF, sent them a photo of what was delivered and they simply said that they don't use the cranberries anymore. The floral arrangement is so beautiful in the photo, it was extremely disappointing to see the final product that was delivered. I forwent the option of adding a vase because I wanted the full bouquet. So, in addition to many of these flowers NOT being included (i.e., NO pink or red flowers, NO peonies, many strands of green leaves in lieu of flowers), the amount of the arrangement was half of what's in the photo. I had even called the florist the morning of the order (same-day delivery) to confirm that the flowers in the photo were available, including the colors (as I am aware there is a shortage), and was affirmed by the representative that all were available except the lilac. So even with calling in advance to reasonably set my expectations, I couldn't win. This was my first time ordering from Crescenta Valley Flowers, I am open to it being a fluke but I have zero confidence in trying again int he future.

The arrangement was not nearly as full as it appears in the photo. The flowers were not secure in the vase so they were fanned out to the sides and it looked like there was a big empty spot in the middle. Some of the flowers were fresh, but others were already brown on the edges.
The people working at the shop weren't wearing masks and there weren't any markings on the ground or indicators on social distancing guidelines. Fellow customers at the time were respectful of each other's space, but it was a bit concerning that the shop didn't have a system in place.
All that being said, I definitely appreciate the team working on Mother's Day! It seemed quite busy and they were doing their best to help people in a timely manner.

I am now in the market for another florist to send things to my aunt. I don’t live in the area and always liked using your company. Note: when you complain about a customer in a very negative way, best to press mute or put them on hold. Rude does not even begin to describe it. I worked in a florist through many high demand holidays and never heard anyone talk about customers in such a manner.

CVF always pulls through whenever I order. They have been around... well... as long as I can remember and I grew up here! They always do amazing, quality work and last year even were able to accommodate an emergency, last minute order. Perfect as always! You won't be disappointed here!
Another great thing to keep in mind is that they are also great with substitutions and their own creativity. I never stress if I have to trust them with using their own opinions on something. They are also amazing artists!

The flowers were great, but it arrived on Friday instead of Saturday and the card was not included. It was ok as I it was Mother's Day on Sunday so it was a Mother's Day weekend and the recipient understood the sentiment and I was able to show them the card message from the receipt but the experience could have been better without those two issues.

Worst experience I have ever had with a flower place. I sent my wife flowers to her work on Valentines day. This place is 2 minutes from where she works. I put the hours she works and thought no biggie, they are right down the street, it should not be a big deal. Well, my wife's office closed an hour early.... Maybe I'm naive, but I didn't think they would wait until the very end of the day to deliver them when she is just down the street. I called them and explained the situation, and already feeling a little upset. If I would have received an understanding response when I called, I would not be leaving this review. The worker there starts arguing with me about time, I'm just trying to find out when they will be there so my wife can leave the office and I am told what does it matter? If she gets them who cares? I'm sorry, but I thought it would be nice if she got flowers while her coworkers are there. It's valentines and anything you can do to make your wife or loved one feel special should be understood by OF ALL PLACES a florist. Anyways, she has not received them yet. Customer Service was horrible..... I will never use this place again. Hope everyone else's valentines plans have gone better so far.

A friend was having her 50th birthday and I wanted to send her some flowers to celebrate. Rather than using the typical big flower sites, I wanted to support a local business. Crescenta Valley Flowers came up online and I thought I'd give them a try. The website is very nice and user friendly. The arrangement that was delivered looked just like the one online. The recipient was thrilled and said it was absolutely gorgeous and smelled amazing. I was particularly impressed that the delivery man called me to tell me where he had placed the flowers... he didn't want to leave them on the porch (as I requested) since they'd be in direct sunlight. He found a nice shady spot and I conveyed the information to the Birthday girl! Overall a great experience and when I want to order for someone in the are, I'll definitely use them again.

The basket was enjoyed by my recipient and overall looked pretty with the colors and so on. But I indicated it was a birthday gift and the card said Happy Birthday but the balloon I also ordered to go with it said Happy Mother's Day. Additionally, the basket looked hastily put together and a little sloppy (compared to picture shown online) with a few of the blooms (like the roses) appearing to be opened so much I doubt they lasted more than a day or two. Mother's Day weekend is a tough time to send flowers for a birthday, I guess.
