I liked the selection and the shopping experience was straightforward and seamless. The flowers were delivered quickly. They were nicely prepared, pretty much as shown in photos . If I had one ask/change it would be that the color palette would be more consistent with photos; I understand that with flowers there will be some seasonality and variance, but I still think the essence of the palette (pastels, vibrant, pale, dark, etc) can be honored. Sometimes the bouquet I’m choosing is based on palette for cultural factors, so it’s a little disappointing to get peach/pale pinks instead of the more saturated fuchsia/purples. Otherwise, I feel that the quality and care is there and I would recommend.

Upgraded to the deluxe and thought it would be a lot bigger, however it still appeared very small, and as if the roses were crammed into a small bowl. I thought that the deluxe would come with a larger bowl as well, but that wasn’t the case. I called in to inquire about it, and they did not offer much, so don’t think I would go here again.

Thank you for your order. The standard is in a 6" bowl, the next size up is 8" bowl which yours was in. Your order had 2 dozen roses. It's a lower compact style as shown in the picture. We only offered you an explanation because the order was correct.

Unfortunately, this arrangement I think you are paying more for the vases than you are for the flowers as the arrangements are very small for the cost. They are pretty but the value for money seems lost. Tried something new as didn’t want a bing centrepiece arrangement for the dining table, but would not order again.

Thank you. This arrangement was from 6 friends for one of our friends whose mother recently passed away. My friend Elaine who received took a photo to send and thank us. A few of us agreed they were pretty, but for the cost, very small. The photo she sent shows white (possibly hydrangeas) and roses. Not as vibrant as photo showed and very small.
I’d not have commented, except you sent email to ask, which is appreciated. I no longer live in Allendale, but the majority of those who shared the cost do.

Thank you for your order. Sometimes the angle of a photo does not represent the arrangement well. Responding to the size, the arrangement states 12x12 which was designed. You ordered the upgraded version which more bright pink roses were incorporated. The arrangement calls for white hydrangea, green and hot pink. All the colors were used. If you wanted a more colorful arrangement, there are plenty to choose from on our site. Thank you for your support.

Nothing special. Spent almost $100 (with tax, delivery …. and tip (for the floral designer??)) on tulips that looked like they were picked up at the grocery store and thrown into a vase. Picked Allendale Flowers for their “extra attention and design” - not sure what all the hype is about because I was very underwhelmed.

You ordered our “Spring Mix” which is described as
“Spring's freshest blooms and colors chosen by one of our talented designers to capture the season.”
The arrangement the recipient received was designed with hydrangea, ranunculus, gerbera daisies, tulips and lilac.
Each spring mix is different, it is not going to look like the photo. There are 4 different examples of spring mixes for reference.
And each of our designers have over 20 years design experience, I assure you you will not receive the same if you went to a supermarket.
I would suggest ordering a specific arrangement if you’d like specific colors and flowers.

Flowers are beautiful, but the delivery experience was not ideal. No advance phone call and then the flowers were just left in the snow on the porch after the delivery person did not wait very long for my mother in law to get to the door. Luckily my mother in law was home to retrieve the flowers from the snow.

Thank you for your order. Due to the pandemic, we are conducting non-contact deliveries. Our drivers place the flowers on the porch, step back and note when someone takes them inside. This is safe for your recipient and our driver. Your order was noted at 1:15PM that day when they were received. We do not call ahead for a birthday order, don't want to ruin the surprise. Hope this explains why in these times, we do not "hand" deliver the flowers. We also do not leave flowers in snow.

2 stars only because they were delivered on time but I ordered the upgraded version of the "Designer's Choice" and the recipient received a tiny, I mean tiny, arrangement that looks like it was thrown together at the last minute with no thought or design. It's literally a small bunch of random stems tossed in small vase. Super disappointing for what was supposed to be a $100 arrangement (looks like a $10 arrangement from Shoprite). I went local vs. larger florist as I wanted to support a local business but clearly made a mistake. This is highway robbery. Awful experience.

Hi Robin, Thank you for your purchase. Please review your order as you selected the standard, not the upgraded as stated, version of our designer's choice. That being said, each arrangement is carefully created and our designer's don't throw them together. Perhaps the recipient sent you the wrong photo, maybe something else she's received. We carry premium, seasonal flowers and care about each order.

Frankly, I expected more for $100.00. I had ordered a custom arrangement, using blue and yellow flowers. I had a picture of the arrangement sent to me and I was disappointed to see it primarily consisted of blue hydrangeas (which although pretty in moderation, they served as the bulk of the arrangement, and maybe 4-5 yellow roses tucked in here and there. For $100.00, there could’ve been a little more imagination (it was a custom arrangement after all) or at the least, use a few more roses. All that being said, I had placed the on -line order the night before and it was received the next morning, on the scheduled day of the delivery. Maybe they were swamped with other orders.

Hi Karen, thank you for your order. Your gift was designed with yellow and blue flowers as requested, to value. We are not a daisy and carnation shop, and use higher value flowers which means you may receive less flowers, but they are premium grade flowers. Our style is typically short and compact as you can see with our selection. If you wanted a “showier” arrangement, that could have been specified in the instruction field. All orders are processed when our shop reopens the following morning and handled with care.

The flower color combination was pretty, but I was disappointed with the number of flowers in the arrangement, compared to the online photo, particularly as I upgraded to the premium level.

The flowers as delivered were nice and the delivery was ontime, but the flower selection didn't match the picture. The blu-ish large flowers in the picture were replaced with the large purples ones, and so the whole arrangement was very _purple_. (There were no flowers that looked like the light large ones in the picture and the roses were all of one color as well, so aesthetically the arrangement was much less distinctive than the picture).

Thank you for your order, Matthew. The hydrangea pictured are actually purple and that is what you received. The lighter ones are the succulents which vary in shades which were also included. The orange roses we used were a different variety than the ones pictured with more of a vibrant color. Hope this explains the varied tones of your flowers.

I was very impressed by how similar what they sent was to the image I selected online. They really do make an effort to work with what's in season to get the same look. They also called before delivering to make sure someone was home to accept because its summer & leaving them outside in the heat would have caused wilting.

The flowers, although pretty in color, came in full bloom and I fear will not least more than another day (that would be only 2 days). Also, the baby's breath - is not bright white - they seem old. I am dissapointed as we have used Allendalel Flowers before and they are not as nice as usual.
